Most Wonderful Doctor! Must Visit!
Dr. D'Orazio is by far the most knowledgeable, professional, charming doctor I have ever met! He gets glowing reviews from every person I know that has gone to see him. When I saw him, I found out why everyone is so happy with his services! He was thorough, kind, funny, and treated me with respect. He is a very smart man and I felt safe going into surgery. My relief after the surgery was indescribable. I was over the moon at being able to see again. On top of that, his post-surgery care is wonderful and equally thorough. He answered every question I had with no trouble at all. He is attentive and makes you feel completely cared for. On top of that, his staff is wonderful and very friendly and also speak highly of him. I am so grateful he came to Myrtle Beach!

Unhappy surgical result
Cataract surgery, June, 2023Patient opinion: Yes, I can see.I have needed glasses for distance all my life. My close vision has always been excellent.I asked for eyeglass-free close vision, which is what I have had all my life. Not what I got. I need glasses for EVERYTHING. And I CANNOT clearly see mid-range (the instruments on my dashboard) at all! Now, I need tri-focals! Second opinion doctor said the surgery was executed well, however, he questioned the selection of lens D'Orazio chose.Perhaps his iupcoming relocation to Myrtle Beach preoccupied him? I will never recommend this man for any procedure!

Awesome Experience!
I had a very minor surgery today with Dr. D'Orazio and I couldn't be happier. Dr. D'Orazio was quick, thorough, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His staff was just as qualified and I will happily return to them if I need anything related to eye care.

This was by far the rudest Dr. I have seen in many years. His staff was also very unfriendly. He spoke so fast and in such a hurried tone that I felt guilty asking any questions feeling as though he had somewhere very important to get pronto. His responses to my questions showed that he was not really listening and he replied with an air of superiority. I will definitely not go back and I would not recommend this Dr. To anyone else.
