Dr. Freund, is the best he has such a great personality, when he is discussing your care he is very serious, and explains every thing so that you understand. He doesn't talk over your head in all kinds of medical terms that can be harder to understand if you are not in the medical field. He wants to make sure you are able to do what you need to do to care for your self. If you get home and have any questions all you have to do is call the office and they will get the answers you need.

I Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Freund and his staff, His receptionist/office mgr. is amazing! She always makes me feel so welcome and just goes above and beyond to take care of my needs. She is by far the Best. His assistant is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer all my questions.. As for Dr. Freund he has been my cardiologist for years and Is the best around, I think his Glastonbury office staff is excellent and would recommend Dr.Freund in a heartbeat!

He can be overly cautious which makes things difficult, ordering lots of tests, etc. Very nice man, explains things thoroughly but sometimes a bit impatient w/ patients in talking with them. His secretary/assistant is an unpleasant not very nice person and is not easy to deal with.

There are not enough words of praise I can give for and to Dr. Freund! He's very sharp, kind, considerate, helpful, and genuine! I was very impressed the first time I met him. But today, he went beyond all expectations! He arranged a modified stress test because I have limitations walking. I was having a little difficulty using the equipment. Dr. Freund helped me to use the equipment while I was taking the stress test!!! I was so amazed that he would go the extra mile! Bravo Dr. Freund!!

We have had Dr Freund as a doctor for the last 20 years. He is amazing. He saved my husband's life after a very serious heart attack. Dr. Freund truly cares about is patients and their welfare. I have been a patient of Dr. Freund for approximately twenty years. The good doctor is my cardiologist after experiencing a quintuple by-pass surgery. I have found him to be a caring and extremely knowledgeable doctor who always puts his patients well-being above all else. He has a wonderful and likeable personality and an ability to relate to his patients in very understandable terms.
He has a very "let's take care of this right away" attitude. He is a doctor's ...doctor!

I started with Dr. Freund in St. Francis Hospital in July 2011 when I had a stroke caused by atrial fib. He is very kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and just a wonderful cardiologist and man. He is the most favorite of all my specialists and I have a few. He has a great staff and I think they love him too. I am very grateful for his locations to serve many patients . I hope he will follow my case for lifetime.

The office manager, staff, and Dr. Freund really CARE about their patients and their health concerns. This doctor is patient and will listen to and address all of your symptoms and explain tests; the need for them; and the results in detail. He approaches your healthcare as a partnership and is worthy of your trust. I am so happy that a friend referred me to this office. I feel so much better about my health concerns and confident I am getting quality care. I highly recoomend this practice.

I had a problem EKG during a pre-op physical with a gp. I got in to see Dr. Freund two days later. Travel made scheduling of a stress-echo difficult, but Dr. Freund and staff accommodated me. I had the stress test two days after the first appointment, very quick access for any specialized diagnostic work.
His responsiveness was great, and he took the time to explain what he was doing, why and what the results meant. First rate treatment of me and his staff.
