I made an appointment with Dr. Fyda even though I live in LAS VEGAS & his office is in Reno. He performed a knee replacement on my close friend & her knee is as good as new! She is thrilled with her excellent outcome! I was having terrible pain & issues with my knee. I went to a local orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knees & my knee actually GOT WORSE! After being examined by Dr. Fyda (x-rays, MRI, etc.) he suggested a series of injections… the treatment has been MIRACULOUS for me as I have no pain or movement issues. I’m so grateful I sought Dr. Fyda’s assessment of my knee. I give him & his wonderfully friendly & organized staff 10 STARS! Yeah, every time I see him he always has my my concerns my issues and listens to me quite well and then gives what he thinks about it. I think me and him just have a good patient doctor relationship.

Dr. Fyda was very efficient during my first visit. While he was quick I was very impressed with how well he listened. My visit was quick and I was immediately set up with and explained my next steps.

My experience with Drs Dealing with patients on Medicare their primary objective is to get you in an out 10 min or less. Dr. F after brief examination did address my rotator cuff injury with Cortizone injections which day later are seeming to help. My disappointment was the doctor was unwilling to discuss or advise on secondary issues I was having from my injury. He simply dismissed them as unrelated while I know for act having lived it they were direct result of my rotator cuff injury. These issues, high blood pressure, poor circulation, swelling and pain in knees and ankles having to sleep sitting up 2 mo. all emerged at the same time after experiencing my shoulder pains & immobility. I at least expected empathy and possible remedies to deal with these issues. An informed discussion on how to deal with my higher blood pressure, circulation issues, how to sleep rather than sitting up all night in a chair would certainly have been helpful. I NEEDED HELP, my 10 mins up, I didn’t get it.

Professional and friendly

Dr. Fyda and his assistant Sandy are wonderful team. They concern patients’ problems and act quickly if necessary. We have healthy shoulders and knees now. We will go to see Dr. Fyda, no one else when we ever need Dr.’s help.
