Dr. Havell II is a kind doctor. Unfortunately, he suffers from what I call "doctor tunnel vision." I came in complaining about a burning sensation in my upper stomach/lower esophagus, bloating, soft stool, frequent burps, a fog-like head, and a feeling of depression after each meal. I had just returned from a trip to West Africa and was convinced I had a bug! I explained everything and he said "I know exactly what bug it is." He asked for a stool sample for bug testing. It came back neg and he told me that he doesn't know what it could be. I was charged $500 plus for nothing. I was so uncomfortable that I reached out to another doctor in the building with the same complaints and she asked for another stool sample base on symptoms and because she noticed I wasn't tested for h. pylori! Well my test came back positive for h. pylori bacteria. Ok I steered Dr. Havell towards a bug but I'm no doctor! And at the least use your medical training to test the stool for other possibilities!!

On the day that I had my appointment with my PC which I waited for for months, that appointment got cancelled because my dr. had another meeting to go to. So Dr. Havell took over but was obviously not happy about it and was taking it out on me. Several times he tried to walk out of the room when I had other referrals I was asking for. It was very frustrating and unprofessional. I'm now looking for another doctor because my PC is too busy. It is very difficult to get an appointment.
