Dr Hodgekiss Is the most caring doctor I have ever been to. Since my car accident in September I have had extreme pain in my back and chest. Since the first time I seen him he has been so compassionate asking how my pain is and really caring. He doesn't make you feel like a drug addict the way a lot of doctors do if you say pain medication is not working. The day I had accident went to ER by ambulance I had compression fractures in my back. I told the doctor how bad I was hurting she made me feel like I was just seeking drugs. I went home with no pain medication I thought the pain was in my head. After seeing Dr Hodgekiss he said looking at my grays he understood why I was in so much pain. Thank you Dr.Hodgekiss you made me believe in compassionate doctors are still out there.

I finally have hope! I have been pushed and shoved through pain management clinics. Have been treated as if I'm getting spanked, if I don't look at the NP the right way. That is behind me. Thank you Dr. Hodgkiss!. My first visit, he spent 4 hrs . I left feeling hopeful for the first time in years. He has treated me with respect and total confidence. He knows his stuff. I just had a discography yesterday. Looking fwd to seeing the results. I would recommend Dr. Tom. He does have your best interest. He's not just a pill pusher, and just worried if you have your pill count. Not a, your in trouble and your going to be put in time out. Like your a child. Thank you Dr. Tom! I'm so happy and excited for my future and getting my life back??

From my first visit with Dr. Hodgkiss four years ago, he has invested a great deal of time learning about my rare diagnosis. We have truly partnered together in addressing my chronic pain, learning new methods and implementing them. Dr. Hodgkiss demonstrates a commitment to individualizing care for each patient he sees, exceeding the standard of care, and pursuing new methods to alleviate chronic pain including exosomes. He's to be applauded for his commitment to educating himself and others. Yes there may be a wait to see him at the office, but it's because he's spending time listening to each one of us, and that's ok with me. Some appointments with us are short and quick, and sometimes we need more time - and he makes that time. His focus is on you and your needs not what boxes are on the form or what's quick, easy or "the way we've always done it". Doc's a special man, a special doctor with a true commitment to his Hippocratic oath. I'm ever so glad he has his own clinic now.

I was a "Patient" of Dr. Hodgkiss at the Swansea office..In a approx. 1 1/2 yr + I only saw him 1X. I only saw nurse practitioners.. I paid for a doctor's visit who went to school 4 yrs college, 3 yrs med 2 yrs intern & 4+ maybe for specialty. & I paid for a nurse practitioner goes 4 yr college and 3 yr NP training. Why do they get equal pay. Last visit nurse was rude and hateful. Visits were on monthly basis.

Thomas D. Hodgkiss, MD in today's era is an extremely rare, & an unique specialist/physician. I agree with everyone prior to this review regarding how they've felt after meeting Thomas. However, I'd like to add a few additional sediments relating to how Thomas does his thing. First off, Thomas is just generally intelligent throughout every subject intertwined within the medical field. Nobody can learn nor teach what Thomas Hodgkiss has to provide to his patients. God Bless You & Your Family Tom!

What can I say that hasn't been said about this wonderful doctor. He will try and do what he can to relieve the pain you are in. During the procedure he talks to you and reassures you. I did not have the best taste in my mouth towards doctors, and then I was blessed with him. There are not enough praises or positive words that I can say.

Dr. Hodgkiss is one of the most caring and thoughtful physicians we have had the pleasure of encountering. He goes beyond the extra mile to ensure he has done everything within his abilities to ensure that his patients are cared for. He personally helped me and two of my family members be relieved of significant pain through knowing what to do. He also exhibits great interpersonal skills. Wish there were more physicians like him!

Today I learned the definition of a doctor who shares the true meaning of Empathy. "Empathy" is the capacity to understand or feel what another person is experiencing from within the other being's frame of reference, i.e., the capacity to place oneself in another's position.

So caring and took his time to make sure i am comfortable at every second during a procedure. Listened to my main complaints of where my pain was and followed through with helping me. I've never felt more safe than with him. I highly recommend anyone who has back pain to go see him. Just a phenomenal Doctor through and through.

Dr Hodgkiss is the kindest most caring doctor I have ever gone to. He did a procedure & was asking all the way through if I was in pain and he didn't want to hurt me. He is wonderful. Has a beautiful smile and southern accent. The problem is, he is in the APG office only on Wed. I had an apt today for a follow-up on the epidural & I was told by girl on their phone a week ago when I came in if I needed another procedure, they would work me in. Dr wasn't there.PA's now give shots. Need new doc
