Care of my sister Carol
Dr. Kates was my sister Carol's primary care physician as she battled breast cancer that came back and spread. Carol would tell me about their conversations. He was always kind, caring and informative. He was very inciteful as to what conversations she might need. It was clear that he gave her all the information she needed and respected and encouraged her point of view. His office was always responsive when Carol had questions or concerns. Carol was so thankful to have Dr. Kates as a partner and the practitioner in her care and so were those of us that love her. Carol passed peacefully on 10/28/2022 and Dr. Kates is one of the angels in this world that we are thankful were part of her life. Thank you Dr. Kates for all you did for my sister Carol. You made a great difference in making her feel seen, heard and cared for. She thought the world of you and spoke of you with fondness.
