Ear cleaning
Dr. Ketterer gently cleaned ear wax out of both of my ears. He was quick and efficient. We discussed hearing loss and he sent me for a test. He referred me to Erik to talk about hearing aids.

Sudden hearing loss
Second opinion on my sudden hearing loss and treatments that have been preformed. He seemed knowledgeable and was able to view and confirm all that had been done was exactly the same as he would have done.

I would not recommend Dr. Ketterer. His bedside manner was pretty bad. i was a BRAND NEW PATIENT and he talked AT me, barely asked any questions and then wouldn't let me talk very long as an answer when he did. I felt uncomfortable in the office, too. The equipment looked old and not very clean. I was starting to feel nervous so I told him that just being there at a dr. office was hard for me and that it causes some anxiety. I teared up a little as I was explaining. This didn't seem to affect him. The nurse came in and brought the machine (she told me he preferred use of an old one vs. the newer technology) and I told her how uncomfortable I was feeling. i could hear him telling them in the hall that I was crying. I almost walked out if it wasn't for the nurse's ability to listen. I will not be doing any follow up with him, but taking my results elsewhere.

In 2006, I was sent to Dr. Ketterer for a lump on the side of my neck. Turned out to be Parotid gland cancer. I've been seeing him ever since (13 years) for various ear problems caused by the radiation I had for the cancer. He's a great doctor. I've never had one complaint. I think he really knows what he's doing & I would recommend him.

My experience with Dr Ketterer was terrible! Please do not go to him, there is a reason he is rated so low. I walked in hoping to get to get direction for my sleep apnea(for which I was diagnosed 6 months prior) and he kept telling me that I don't have it and was argumentative the entire time. He asked me to explain my symptoms and after stating one, he moved on and kept saying that I should not have been diagnosed with sleep apnea... Then he told me to go to a sleep specialist and charged me...
