Terrible bedside manner
Dr. Math Entered my mother's hospital room (she has terminal lung cancer) and the first thing he said was 'who's the unluckily-est girl in the room?'. He then continued to be short and unpleasant the rest of his short time with us. He may be smart and work with multiple hospitals, but his bedside manner was horrendous. Particularly considering the situation of my mother, which he had full understanding of. I would not recommend if there were any other options.

Dr Math review
What stood out with Dr Math is he wouldn't allow me to make an appointment at the Specialty Clinic he is at.The determination by Dr Math was after 2 referrals were sent from 2 different Dr's of mine; at 2 different times.I would not have had the referrals sent to Dr Math if my referring Drs did not have medical evidence proving I need a Dr with his expertise and specialty.

Was able to detect a uncommon infection lemierre syndrome. Made sure to check for everything possible as to why I was so sick when tests were coming back left and right negative. Still managed to detect this infection and a infection formed blood clot in my jugular vein. Thankful for his knowledge and not letting me go home even when I was feeling better until we knew for sure what caused my body to get so sick.

Late Friday afternoon appt, waited 20 mins past appt time and was then hussled through the appt, as if this was the time he chose to "catch up". VERY LITTLE discussion, no time for questions, general feeling of "hurry-up, no time". Later, when writing with questions through patient/dr communication portal, he obviously didn't read the message and answers were not specific to questions or to my concerns. He may be very good in his field, I really can't even speak to that, but, in my experience, his one-on-one patient care is sorely lacking and leaves patient feeling frustrated, insignificant and dismissed.

Dr. Math was fabulous to work with . He explained everything in detail and to my understanding. He made me feel as though I was his only patient . Never did I feel he rushed through anything with me . He took the time necessary to answer my questions . Very happy with him as my Doctor .

The way this doctor presented himself was very unprofessional! He had no compassion for my needs. He is very smart but unable to break down information for patients to understand.
