A very busy dr. but very knowledgeable in heart problems. Had a positive tela-visit... He was in no rush to complete the conversation and asked ?s until he was satisfied knowing my condition and how it should be treated.

Since 2008 Dr Thomas McMinn has been my cardiologist, dealing with my high blood pressure, leaky mitral valve, arterial plaque, and aneurysm in the ascending aorta. The length of that relationship is testimony to my confidence in Dr McMinn’s abilities to keep me healthy. That I am now 80 years old is testimony to his success in dealing with my heart issues.
Dr McMinn is smart, articulate, informed, and coordinates well with my GP and other doctors. He is clear in explaining what we are trying to accomplish. I think he would be a great teacher. I listen carefully to his advice and try to follow through as best I can, and, importantly for me, he listens. I genuinely enjoy his company. Think A+.

I first met Dr. McMinn when he was recommended to us for my 90 yr. old mothers care. I was so impressed with his knowledge and his kindness in dealing with her that I knew I could trust him with my own care. He and his staff have never disappointed us. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. McMinn since I experienced a DVT several years ago. In all my subsequent diagnoses, treatment and follow-up visits, he has always been very thorough and never rushed through his explanations of his plan for treatment. All the while, being very friendly and considerate. I recommend him without reservation.

Very efficient visit. I arrived on time. Met with PA and Dr McMinn before paperwork was completely finished. PA entered relevant data in electronic storage. Visited with doctor, scheduled recommended tests and followup visit. Out in less than an hour. Received easy to follow instructions for upcoming tests and comprehensive hard-copy summary of visit and recommendations. I highly recommend Austin Heart Hospital and Dr. Thomas McMinn.

Cardiac issues can be stressful, even something as routine as an annual without stress tests. Dr. McMinn has always put me at ease with his pleasant and caring demeanor. He is always open to questions and treats my concerns with dignity and respect, although, sometimes I think my concerns may actually be trivial. My appointment times have been respected and waiting time has always been minimal.
