Dr. Thomas Mizell, MD

Dr. Mizell is very patient and listens to his patients! He makes them feel that he values their input in their medical care! He is very professional! When I was very ill with Covid, and on top of that had Shingles, he was able to FaceTime me and determine because of where the Shingles were close to my eye, it was a medical emergency! Because of that I was able to get immediate care at the hospital which probably saved my eyesight! That time it was a Telehealth appointment I guess, but I have been pleased all the time!I am very grateful for Dr. Mizell!

Dr. Mizell is amazing. He is a wonderful and highly knowledgeable physician. He really takes the time to understand my 80+ year old health. When I have been well, he still takes time to make sure that he understands how I am feeling -- a true wellness visit. When I have had some health issues, he has been tenacious in both understanding and treating to get me back on my feet. What I really admire and appreciate is how effectively he communicates with me - both in the office and after appointments, following up above and beyond - truly unique in this day and age. Shawn is also amazing, and so very caring. Highly recommend! I am lucky to have Dr. Mizell as my doctor.

Office staff always welcoming. Dr Mizell is a very thorough physician, never rushed during my visit, explaining lab work results. Am very pleased with his care.

Dr Mizell has been my doctor for the past 8 yrs. I love the way he personally calls you to discuss your test results and go over your options. He is a wonderful doctor.

Stay away from the nurse Shawn Hodo, she is rude, impolite and harsh attitude. She is Dr. Mizell's nurse. She had thrown blood pressure device on to me, yelled, and also would never smile. Today she made me cry.

Worst experience in the history, I left his office crying this morning. His nurse Shawn Hodo mistreated me in numerous occassions, at one time, she even threw blood pressure devise on to me. Today's incident was the last straw.

Dr. Mizell took enough time with me that I felt he was truly attentive and cared about me as a person as well as a patient. He had obviously reviewed my records before seeing me so there was not a lot of duplication of questions between the nurse and Dr. Mizell. He took my concerns seriously and gave sensible responses and alleviated any anxiety I was having.

Dr. Mizell has been my Doctor for more than 15 years, he is very thorough and allows the patient to be a part of the process by him questioning the patient and actively listening to them.

Dr. Mizell, Shawn and the entire office staff are wonderful. Dr. Mizell spends time with his patients and always provides outstanding guidance. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mizell for years and recommend him highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mizell for about 13 years. He is excellent. His coorect diagnosis, caring nature and humor has keep me coming all of these years. I can always trust his treatments.

I complained about his poor computer system and he fired me as a patient, no warning, no discussion by certified letter.
