Dr. Thomas Nowatka, MD

My wife went to Dr. Nowatka for a year checkup that is included on my insurance, She told him that sometimes when she eats greasy food her stomach hurts, He strongly suggested that She had an ultrasound and blood work just to make sure she was ok. She agreed and after around $800.00 in test they didn't find anything, which is good and I paid for. But couple of weeks later I received a $247.00 bill from his office for the visit. My wife explained that it was an annual visit and it was covered by my insurance, they told her that for 45 minutes the doctor charged originally $450.00, like $10.00 a minute.She explained again that the annual visit is covered by my insurance. Nobody wants to listen to her, they told her that becuase Dr. Nowatka found something it was like a regular visit. He foud something??? That's not the point of an annual visit to prevent future illness???? She saw him 1 time, what a joke. Anyway after 2 years of going back and foward they took the money from my taxes any

Dr.nowatka is the best doctor I have ever had...he is so down to earth and you can tell he really cares about his patients.

Dr. Nowatka is an excellent doctor. He explains everything in plain english and not all of that doctor talk.
