Dr Omalley is the BEST! He always listened to my concerns and helped me through my stressful pregnancy. During my delivery he popped in to just say hi and saw that I was not okay and took right over! 3 hours of pushing under the midwife’s care (and no progress) he came and got my son out ASAP. He saved my sons life, truly. He made me laugh in my emergency section and turned my stressful labor into a light and happy outcome!!! I’ve seen him prior to this pregnancy as well and he’s great in the office! Always makes me feel at ease, funny, smarty, and so good as his job! Totally recommend him!

I have had successful Pap smears in the past but due to a recent event I was really dreading it. I told the doctor as soon as he came in the room that I was more nervous than usual and that I would like him to go slowly and tell me what was happening with each step. He did not acknowledge this AT ALL, went right on in and then said, disappointedly, “I’m not gonna be able to get it”. While I was crying on the table. I was able to tell him and the nurse about the event that had me so nervous, and he did show a little sympathy and recommended an anti anxiety medication for future appointments. Which is fine and I will probably do that, but I believe that if he had listened or even acknowledged my requests at the beginning, the procedure could have been successful.

Made an appointment for IUD removal - office only booked a discussion with this doctor. He minimized my significant pain issues it had caused for years. Laughed when asking if I could “convince” my husband to get a vasectomy but thought anesthesia for tubal ligation was no big deal. Refused to remove my IUD without a second option in place for contraception. I fail to see how this is his decision to make for me. Like stepping back into 1979s misogyny. Had to go to new provider to resolve my issues. PIWH has gone downhill in recent years. Lobby doesn’t even provide restroom with working hot and cold water.

Dr. O'Malley has always been kind and professional. The girls that work there are always friendly and caring. I have been seeing him for about 25 years and he has never made me feel uncomfortable discussing my concerns.

I received the news from Dr O’Malley that my baby had died in utero and my pregnancy was no longer viable. His compassion and professionalism made one of the hardest days of my life a tiny bit more bearable. He took his time explaining what likely occurred, patiently allowed me to cry, and assured me repeatedly that it was a common occurrence and by no means my fault or the result of anything I’d done. On the day of my D&E procedure, he stopped to see me and check to see if I had any questions before the procedure. I was grateful for the care he took to ensure that I was physically and emotionally okay.

I went for an Hpv flare up. I was positive of. He said it was a skin tag. Demanded the name of original oncologist who diagnosed me. 3 months later I had to have surgery with another dr. I was left in O'Malley room 34 min. Whole entire time he spoke about storm Jonas chocolate cake and some good patient he had . I moved to Pa and struggled with medical care there so I move back to Ca. please don't go see Dr. Mally. I could have been diagnosed with cancer. Hpv is nothing to mess with.

He does not want to talk to you. He thinks he can read your mind. When you offer your health history he could care less. He acted like he was in a hurry and did not want to listen. Not going back to him unless I absolutely have no choice.

My issues with my experience with Dr. O'Malley were that he acted as if he was in a rush throughout the examination; when actually performing the physical examination there was no warning whatsoever that he was going to proceed as he had JUST sat down in front of me and went right on in, and the same thing goes for when he inserted the speculum which of course was extremely alarming and made me tense up (making it even more uncomfortable than normal). He should be more conscious of that stuff.
