He is okay but wants you to come back for another eye exam after he sends you to someone else for visual field. If you do not go back he declines sending your final notes on your visual field to you or your ophthalmologist. His office manager is obnoxious. Gianna is nice as long as you do what she says or do not question her about her doctor not sending final notes. Also took co pay when I went for my visit and then sent me a bill for co pay I paid. She needs to realize she is not the doctor nor his protector. However he never called me nor my ophthalmologist concerning my questions on the visual field he did not to. He is bright and thorough but his demanding you return for another appointment after he already diagnosed your situation is ridiculous. Money maker.

Dr Slamovits is the reason my father can see right now; his name bears a heroic reputation in my family. I was impressed with the intensity of his focus during examinations, his ability to act quick and decisively in a crisis, and mostly his concern for my father's well-being during and after the visit.

I first saw Dr. Slamovits in 2006 when my opthalmologist noticed I had peripheral vision loss (I had gone to him because something with my vision seemed "off." He called Dr. Slamovits right then and there during my appointment asking him to see me ASAP. Dr. Slamovits saw me the very next day! After years of treatment for optic neuropathy, my eyesite is now listed as "stable" with minimal damage to my optic nerve. I still see him annually for follow-up visits. He is an incredible physician!
