He convinced me to go along with adult circumcision on the basis of appearance. After going through with it, I realized I made the worst mistake of my life. My condition, at 16 years old, was phimosis. It could've been easily treated with a small incision, but he advised to remove the entire foreskin--an extremely sensitive part of my body. This is not the same thing as a newborn; As an adult male, my foreskin is forever ingrained in my brain, there will be always be a piece of my motor and sensory cortex devoted to that part of my body which is no longer there. My personal life is forever changed thanks to this man in the most depressing way. I was so young and understandably inexperienced at the time that I didn't understand the significance of a foreskin and my whole life I had felt stigmatized for having one. Then this doctor tells me how bad it would look if he didn't circumcise me, without giving me any information about the loss in sensation I would inevitably experience.

Excellent doctor, Has treated members of my family for many years. In recent yrs I have been bringing my elderly father to see Dr. Staley. He is very patient and kind. You are never pulled out of the office. Answers all questions. He cares about how the whole family is doing. He is tops in my book!!! Will hate when he retires.
