Dr. Takayama deserves a rating of 7
My visit could not have better. I was late and he took me in immediately. His doctoring skills are supreme and this “bedside manner” equal or better. I am blessed to have both Dr. Takayama and Dr. NISHINO taking care of me.

Excellent Urologist
Performed successful prostate surgery on me. Follow-up with him and staff and they take very good care of me. I have a lot of confidence in his care, as does my primary doctor.

Follow up surgery on prostate.
He did Lazzar surgery on me last summer it was a follow up procedure that another doctor had originally performed. I was bleeding and he went in and cleaned up everything and have no prostate problems since

Dr Takayama is a good doctor and person. Unfortunately the office services is a mess. It needs an overhaul. I’ve been waiting for an answer about an injection that I need for almost two months. Today I learned; the request (order) had not been placed. They are starting the process today 8/10/2021, it make take up to 14 days to get an approval or denied from the insurance company. Very frustrating situation specially when I was told by their office that they were waiting for an answer a month an a half ago. They don’t return calls when they say they would. Staff always with lame excuses; short staff, training, etc. As a customer I don’t care what their office issues are. As a customer I need solutions and optimum service. This office is failing at customer service, quick turnaround. They fail to provide a great customer experience.

I have been terrified to have a prostate biopsy for many years. Was recommended to go to Dr Takayama by my GP. Over the top great experience, he took the time to explain how they mitigate the discomfort. Also told me at any time if pain was too much, they would stop and reconsider some other process. The biopsy was so comfortable, the whole experience with staff and process excellent. I dreaded this process for so long but would tell anyone, I Highly recommend this Doctor

I'm existing patient of Dr Takayama, and I'm experiencing pain symptom so I called the office, but they would not see me until 6 weeks out. That's not exactly helping existing patient who are in urgent need.

Dr. Takayama saved my life twice. The first time was when he discovered an early chordoma on my coccyx. The second time was when he found a cancerous tumor on my kidney. Both were in their early stages, operable, and fortunately non-recurrent.
