Doesn't care about patients.
He rushed through my new patient appointment, acting like I was inconveniencing him for being there. Looked at the computer most of the time other than listening to my heart and lungs. Wasn't listening to me or really explaining things to me. He said I had a condition, didn't explain the condition at all, just prescribed me 2 medications, and when I asked about potential side effects he brushed me off saying that they were safe.Worst of all though, after this 'diagnosis' and prescription, I said that I had a few other concerns to ask him about. He said and I quote directly, 'I don't know if I have time for that.' In a new patient appointment. He didn't have time to talk to me about my health concerns when we are trying to establish care for me and a baseline of my health? If he didn't have time then when would he have time? I spent more time with the nurse updating my history, than with the actual doctor talking about my concerns. Avoid if you want actual healthcare.

Best medical experience I have ever had
I had the best medical experience I have ever had at TDMD Primary Care. I would recommend anyone and everyone to work with Dr. Thusitha Dissanayake. I have a lot of medical anxiety to due to a long history of invasive, invalidating experiences in the healthcare system. Simply the way Dr. Thusitha spoke to me and listened to me was so rare and comforting. He not only listened to my lengthy history with compassion, but also was incredibly thorough in researching, testing, and diagnosing my condition. Dr. Thusitha diagnosed me with a rare blood disease that had been unraveling my life for years. I genuinely don't believe another practitioner could have diagnosed me because my condition was so rare and complex that it could only be discovered someone who was devoted, passionate, and meticulous—I would recommend anyone to work with Dr. Thusitha because his clinical approach embodies this energy.

Worst Primary Care Provider I have ever had. Constantly rescheduled appointments because he will be out of the office. Knows nothing about his patients. Does not review charts before seeing his patients. Fails to consider drug interactions before prescribing new meds. Only go to this provider if you don’t value your own life!
