Dr. Tiffanie McGuire, DO

Dr. Mcquire is a great listener. She listened to all of my health concerns and issues. Afterward she made suggestion that I believe are obtainable and will improve my conditions.

I moved from another state and I was used to waiting a long time even if I was on time. However, when I check in the waiting it is not long. After seeking several physicians, Dr. McGuire was perfect for me. She did not dismiss any of my concerns. She even acted fast about some symptoms I was having. She immediately referred me to a specialist instead of brushing me off like other doctors. Thanks to her immediate action I am cancer free today.

She doesn’t know how to calculate 90 days supplies of prescriptions in ML and simple checkups which are covered by insurance are coded to she more money which is not covered by insurance so patients end up paying and having to repeat visit to get prescriptions fixed since they’re not fixing when pharmacies have called to check dosages.

Went in for a routine visit to get a prescription refilled, which was annoying enough. She asked at end of visit about any other issues. Since I answered and she provided verbal advice she changed the code of the visit from routine to one about acute issues. Instead of an insurance covered visit, it cost over $100 out of pocket. This is absolutely a case of theft. I would not go to this office again even in an emergency. They also have the worst office staff I have dealt with in a local healthcare setting. You can’t speak to a person when calling and wait days for a callback. If you are looking for a new provider, keep looking. This one isn’t it.

Sent me home with an ACTIVE MAJOR HEART ATTACK (Myocardial Infarction). She was UNABLE to differentiate between a major heart event and Reflux Disease! Patient presented with sternum pain, both arms aching, and jaw pain. She sent me home with a referral to a GI doctor. She did NOT perform ANY diagnostic procedures except BP (which was overly high) and used the stethoscope. NO EKG, no X-Ray, No chest pain protocol or procedures, not even a suggestion I should go to the ER, she just sent me home. Next day I had an emergency stent for 100% LAD blockage! She now has an official complaint lodged against her with the State of Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. She was informed of the emergency of her patient and has NEVER responded in any way whatsoever. She NEVER checked on her patient. I spent 2 days in CCU and never did my FP get in contact with the hospital, my caregiver, or me, her patient. Do you want to see a doctor like that?

Went to doctor for asap help with bronchitis because it was killing my fresh surgery incisions on my stomach and back. Coughing and back spasms. Doctor refused to give me medication I have used all my life. Instead gave me a much lesser wimpy medication, had to use for an additional 3 weeks before Coughing disappeared. Not Happy. Doctor not recommended. She also doesn't give refills.
