Dr. Tiffini Lake, MD

I was skeptical after reading other reviews on this site but had a consultation scheduled with Dr Lake so went ahead with the appointment. She spent more time listening to me than any other physician has. Dr. Lake paid careful attention to the areas of pain including palpating my spine. After talking with me about my MRI and options for pain control Dr Lake scheduled me for a steroid injection but told me to get physiotherapy first. I did not need the injection or any other intervention after going through physical therapy. I am very grateful to have see Dr Lake and would highly recommend her.

Tiffany didn’t even look at my MRI before performing an injection. I later found out that she injected the steroid into the completely WRONG joints. She is rude (to her nurses & assistants), bases her care on the level of Insurance you can provide & is the Chair of her Dept., so any concerns of her skills stop with her.

I had back injections with Dr. Lake. It was a bad experience. She was very impersonal and didn't seem to want to interact with me. She introduced herself and had a very brief discussion of the procedure. She was not pleasant and in general just was not friendly. She said nothing when walking into the procedure room and since I was face down, I had no idea she had come in until the needle was jabbed in my back . No warning, not a single word. I let her know that it was terribly painful and she had not a word to say. I would never let her touch me again.

After years of chronic back pain I had Dr. Lake perform a minimally invasive procedure with remarkable effect. Dr. Lake is totally professional, knowledgeable and communicates clearly. She gave me a realistic appraisal of the benefits and to date I am delighted with the results of the 15 minute procedure she performed. I am virtually pain free for the first time in years.
