Dr. Tihele Walkowsky, MD

I encountered Dr. Walkowsky when I went to the Los Robles Hospital with violent vomiting while 30 weeks pregnant. She was on-call that morning and being turned away to the ER because I was coerced into saying I had chest pains from vomiting, Dr. Walkowsky came into my room per my request. Her words to me were 'if you were to die and code on my floor, I would have no way to help you and that is a very bad look for this floor.' I was appalled. I responded by asking if this is how she treats patients who could have complications and fatal deliveries, and she had no reply other than 'I probably shouldn't have said it like that.' She was unprofessional, cold, and absolutely horrible in every interaction. She should not be practicing medicine, let alone working with pregnant women and newborns who are vulnerable and need kindness in their care. Shame on her.

I have been going to Dr. Walkowsky for 3 years now. She has been there with me through tubal removal as well as my pregnancy. She is AMAZING! Straight to the point yet caring. She is very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining things.

I had a very bad experience with this Doctor. In January 9th of 2019 I had a physical. The next day January 10th, she gave me a very brief explanation of the surgery. I was told that my Ovaries would be remove in addition to my uterus but no explanation as to why. I was told that because I am already part menopause I would not experience any symptoms and would be able to return to work in 6 weeks after the surgery. Dr Walkowsky did not spent the time to explain the surgery or side effects in detail. The next day of January 11 I received a called from the office telling me to come to the office right away before it closes to sign some paperwork, otherwise I wouldn't be able to have the surgery on the scheduled date. I left what I was doing and drove to the office, where I was rushed to sign the paperwork without any explanations, before the office closed.
