Best neurologist
The most thorough, attentive and knowledgable Neurologist our son ever had. Dr. Livingston patiently listened while I described every symptom, every strange thing I had noticed occurring in our son’s behavior and ordered tests appropriate to his symptoms. Later, I got my son’s medical reports and there was nothing he left out. Nearly all of it was recalled from memory and small notes. 24 years after his move, we are seeing that his judgment and subsequent prescriptions were not only appropriate but prescient in that the science is only now bearing his decisions out. His loss to a move proved devastating as doctor after doctor prescribed every kind of pharmaceutical remedy, ultimately hurting our son rather than nourishing our son’s brain. We would recommend Dr. Livingston before any other neurologist we’ve seen over the 26 years and multiple hospitals, states, psych, neuro-psych, etc. Top-notch doctor with excellent character. 5 stars plus

He helped navigate my autistic son through some very tough times. Always responds quickly. Dr Livingston always has a plan, a back up plan, and usually another one just in case any issues arise.

Dr. Livingston has been there for us since the day our three year old was admitted to the pediatric ER due to a prolonged seizure. Dr. L gently walked us through the EEG and subsequent diagnosis of epilepsy. Our daughter has been seeing him for over a year and a half now. He is caring, deeply knowledgeable, calm, honest, trustworthy, and has a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. L always takes the time to answer questions and anticipate our needs for each visit. He is wise, yet humble. Our daughter actually looks forward to her checkups with him because of his great care. Our family is deeply appreciative of him and his team. I can not describe how blessed we are to have our daughter in his care.

Dr. Livingston saved my daughter almost 9 years ago, when she was 6 years old. He diagnosed and treated her within 24 hours of arriving at Columbia Children's hospital with guillain barré syndrome. Such a rapid diagnoses and treatment is a rarity and was instrumental in her survival and rapid recovery. Today, she is involved in 3 different sports and shows no residual affects of her affliction. Dr. Livingston is a hero. You could not be in more compassionate and capable hands.
