Absolutely wonderful caring experience
I can not express enough how helped and cared for I felt when I went through a scary situation. They are absolutely wonderful people. Organized, thoughtful, prompt, and empathic are just some of the descriptive words I would use to describe my experience with Dr. Brown and his wonderful staff of Andrea (I hope I spelled correctly), and Martha. Every question I had was answered with frank and friendly answers. I think compassion and understanding are natural parts of their personalities. I feel comfortable and confident I made the perfect choice going with Dr. Brown. I am extremely happy I did.

"He saved my life"
I went almost 3 years with a weight loss problem that no one could explain and my pancreas tests showed me as malnutritioned. I finally got a referral to Dr. Brown and scheduled an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I came out of surgery with a solution to my problem after almost 3 years. I am truly glad I did not read these reviews before my surgery. I found the doctor and his staff to very knowledgeable and very kind, in the office and at the surgery center. Shocked to see what I am reading!! I am someone that likes the honest truth and suggestions, so maybe I have a different view of a quality doctor, but I still cannot say anything bad about how I was treated or spoke to. I hope any patient reading these reviews prior to an appointment should maybe call and get a feel for the office first. Like I said, I am glad I didn't read these reviews first. I have now gone from malnutritioned to almost normal healthy and have gained back 20 of the almost 40 lbs that I lost with no explanation.

A Very Compassionate Doctor
Dr. Brown did my colonoscopy in 2022. He explained things in detail to me about the procedure to be done and afterwards the results. I am very pleased with Dr. Brown and my family has used his services since then.

Dr. Brown is a very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful surgeon. We have used him for multiple issues and never had a problem, just great service. People complain about silly things, but many doctors are quite smart and can be different as far as communication.. that has nothing to do with his skills, knowledge, or abilities. He is quite helpful and a talented surgeon. As far as his staff and office, they are wonderful! Helpful, friendly and fun. (I think the poor reviews were his OLD staff because they are way nicer now!) His office was so helpful, squeezing us in at the last of the year.. kudos!!

He did a hemorrhoidectomy on me and after two weeks of the pain not going away I ask for lidocaine gel to put on it and he belittled me to the point that I won't go back to him because he wouldn't give me any lidocaine gel. wasn't like I was asking for opiates

Other then your recceptionist being very rude, it was okay. I would not recommanding your receptionnist to be able to answer the phone unti she get some education on how to answer and respect your clients better.

His office staff, especially the receptionist, are rude, insensitive and insincere. The receptionist was a total waste of space. I have never been treated worse at an office in my life. They’re more concerned with money than their patients. They are money hungry, and he has almost killed several people, one just THIS YEAR. DO NOT GO HERE. HE MIGHT KILL YOU. Anyone who has bad staff like this doesn’t CARE about his patients, only his money.

I drove 66 miles for an appointment and was not seen because of a $2.00 co-pay. Dr. Brown's staff especially his receptionist was discourteous and rude. The receptionist told me "perhaps I should look for another doctor". The receptionist called upon the doctors nurse to see if they could reschedule. Dr. Brown will never be my surgeon.
