Dr. Timothy Hardy, MD

This doctor has been insisting on me getting a DNC to stop certain symptoms. I said countless times that I did not have those symptoms and yet he still wants me to undergo the procedure. The first time I declined, they erased my medical records and visits from the portal. When I insisted, they told me I would be banned from coming back to the office. Very strange. Get a second opinion before they misdiagnose you.

He is so caring and respectful. I have been going to him for over 27 years. Several surgeries. I will not go to anyone else. He’s the best in my book!

I have been a patient for 28 years, 4 babies, and 3 surgeries! I have never trusted a doctor more than I have trusted Dr. Hardy. He always educated me as a patient and I believe that patient care is of utmost importance to him and his practice.

Dr. Hardy is by far the best obgyn in the world. He’s the reason I have my beautiful 16 year old daughter who is my world. I owe him everything. Because he’s so great at what he does, the best softest speaking person and a doctor who explains ever step to you, because he loves his job so much, he wouldn’t think I owe him anything. I could say a million great things about him but nothing negative! He’s always on time! I reside in NY now and if I could bring him and his staff to this state with me, they would be here! I love you guys and all that you’ve done for me????????

Dr. Hardy and his staff are always professional and friendly. Dr. Hardy thoroughly explains all diagnosis and treatments. The office is clean and organized. I highly recommend Atlantic OBGYN for your gynecological needs.

Dr. Hardy has been my doctor for nearly thirty years and has delivered all three of my babies. He is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. His calm demeanor is always reassuring and he has the best bedside manner. I trust him fully and every single person I’ve referred his way has said the same thing. He has delivered my grandson, performed surgeries on friends and delivered babies to many friends/family. I am so thankful for all the years I’ve had him as my doctor and I trust the care that he has given me through all these years. He stays up to date in his field and keeps up with the trends and procedures. He has always done this and I appreciate his eagerness to be the best he can be offering his patients the very best care.

I just underwent a new line treatment for interstitial cystitis under Dr. Hardy. I have pretty much exhausted all other avenues including injections, physical therapy, medication, and insertion of the neuromodulator. So far this new line treatment has greatly reduced my interstitial cystitis and overactive bladder symptoms. I can sleep all night most nights and can go a couple of hours without using the bathroom. Before I would wake up at least 2 to 3 times a night and go to the bathroom every 20 minutes at times. Dr. Hardy truly cares for his patients and gives them the best care possible. If you suffer from interstitial cystitis, you should give him a chance to help. He treats you with the upmost respect and does not give up on trying to help with whatever issue you bring to his attention.

I have been going to Dr. Hardy for over 10 years… even though I have moved out of the area. He is worth the drive. He is a very caring, compassionate and understanding doctor! Wish more doctors were like him!!

Dr. Hardy has been wonderful. He always answers any questions I have. My family and friends have been coming to him for over 20 years

I went in after being told I had IBS for the last two years of my life. After doing my exam the first thing out of his mouth was “have you ever thought maybe you couldn’t have kids.” I was completely mortified and after ultrasounds and lots of blood tests he comes back 2 weeks later and tells me I have PCOS and endometriosis and he didn’t think my Fallopian tubes were open and immediately tried to get me to schedule a surgery appointment. I was so upset and didn’t even know what to say. He was so unprofessional and really upset me and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone as he isn’t very understanding of the pain I go through daily.

I have #1 Dr. Hardy, He is the most Caring Dr.& is Always Most concerned of my questions. He takes the time to listen & answers all my concerns to take care of my body & helps with answers to make me feel the Best I can. He is my o.b.gyn but the the Best M.D Dr.also, You can Trust & feel better after appointments is A Good feeling in these times of trusting someone with your Health. my visit went well today i would recommend my family and friends to dr hardy becuse he is a nice and kind doctor

21 years of suffering please please dear sweet reader avoid my pain and find a compassionate Dr. Elsewhere. Finally after 2 kids when the time came for after care as a mature woman I recieved discusting behavior from his child Emily now NP and the apple of his eye when it comes to allowing woman to remain in pain. So I left I wrote a very nice I'm leaving letter thanking him for helping with bring two kids into this world on January 7th but I could not and would not be treated unkindly. What special response did this 21 years as a patient get ? A certified letter dropping me for " none compliance "dated January 11th. Please dear reader run..run away because I stayed when I did not have to because I thought that was the best I could do. I did not want to have pain so I found a compassionate dr elsewhere and left. Now on medical treatment which will help make things better and no pain drugs ever asked for or needed just solutions and compassionate care that I did not get at this office.

Dr Hardy was my daughter’s obgyn. I was not impressed with he or his staff. Once my daughter was pregnant she asked me to attend every visit. Due to my difficulty delivering her I and asked very specific questions regarding my daughter and her ability to deliver naturally. They were evasive and ignored my questions and concerns. Flash forward to the day of delivery. The very first nurse who checked her stated that her delivery would be difficult “due to her pelvic bone blocking the birth canal.” They had to use the vacuum extractor 4 times! It was archaic, needless and dangerous! Then afterwards I told him of her allergies and to not sew her up with catgut and he did anyway! She had an infection for a whole Year! He had to go in and remove it and it caused a lot of scar tissue. She hasn’t been the same ever since! To say that I’m furious is an understatement! It was malpractice!

DR HARDY AND HIS TEAM ARE GREAT. He has delivered both of my children and i couldnt have asked for a better doctor. HE IS VERY CARING,PROFESSIONAL,AND FRIENDLY AND ME AND MY KIDS ARE VERY HAPPY TO HAVE HIM. THANK U FOR ALL YOU DO DR. HARDY.

Dr Hardy and his staff are extremely professional and thorough. He has a great bed side manner and his staff from the front office to his nursing staff are all-in with whatever your healthcare need may be. They go over and above. I would definitely recommend him for your ob or gyn needs. I am so grateful that I found this practice.

I have been going to Dr. Hardy for about two years and counting. The staff at both the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach locations are EXTREMELY nice and very professional. Dr. Hardy gets straight to the point and cross every 'T' and dot every 'I'. He has performed two of my surgeries and have good, soft bed side manners. I never have to wait no more then 10 min to be called for triage and roomed at either location and the total visit time is usually about 30 min. As long as Dr. Hardy keeps practicing I will continue my care with him and his wonderful staff.

You may want to go to another doctor before considering Hardy. He has become forgetful and confused about my medical history and condition. I’ve had to remind him several times now about a serious condition that has adverse interactions with drug treatments. Even if he’s forgetful, he should at least check his chart before he sits down with me for my appointment. Nice guy but not a good doctor any longer.

Great doctor but the wait time is insane, he is always behind schedule and doesn’t care if his patients wait 3 hours for a procedure that was SCHEDULED first thing in the morning. Some of us can not afford to wait several hours in a doctors office waiting room, taking time off work, having a family member take time off work to bring us to the appt. I feel as if it is inconsiderate of him to schedule 5 appts in one hour, as if patients time is not important. I feel like i am just another paycheck to him.
