Dr. Timothy Heider, MD

Dr Heider performed a gastric sleeve surgery on me almost 3 yrs ago. I came to him with severe knee pain and just miserable. At 270 lbs I had HIGH BP, High cholesterol and shortness of breath. I wanted a complete transformation. Dr Heider very honestly told me with the right level of commitment and consistency, I could shed the 135 lbs I desired. And in about 13 months that’s exactly what I did. His approach of fitness, healthy eating and following his guidance. That was almost 3 years ago and I have maintained both my weight loss and this life style!! This could not have been possible without this team. I highly recommend Dr Heider and his team to anyone who has tried everything like me to lose weight and keep it off. I am no longer in pain or on a bunch of meds. Grateful and Overjoyed!!

They share your DEEPLY private most embarassing information. It's in their privacy policy that they can share with any doctor but they rush you through the privacy policy review time to prevent you from making an informed decision. I gave them permission to talk to my primary care doctor, not some OB/GYN that saw the public info decided to talk to me about it. I feel RAPED by Dr. Heider and his office. How can I even consider letting them cut into me and the office doesn't feel a bit of empathy that i feel like I was violated. My HIPAA was violated.

My wife had a terrible experience with Dr. Heider. After her surgery, she became very ill and was unable to eat or drink for over a month. We had repeated visits to the ER, because she became severely dehydrated and her potassium levels were critically low. She eventually needed home health nurses to treat her by inserting a PICC line (an IV near her heart) to deliver nutrition and hydration. It turned out her gallbladder was full of stones and Dr. Heider missed the simple diagnosis. The worst part was that no matter how sick my wife got, Dr. Heider never seemed to care.

Yes, my girlfriend is 10 weeks post-op from a gastric sleeve.....she still is throwing up every single day....and nothing is being done to find out why!!!

Very bad experience from start to finish. From the office staff not returning calls and providing info to Dr Heider misdiagnosis, a horrible experience. Doctor told me my lap band had slipped and I need revision surgery. The office girls had the prices, etc all worked up for me before my visit with the doctor was even over. Got a second opinion, and as I suspected, there was nothing wrong with my lap band. Basically, the doctor was just trying to upsell me to a surgery that I didn't need !

Very personable staff. Caring and helpful. Dr. Heider was about the patient when he walks in room. And if you aren’t sitting down, his eyes will make your knees buckle!!! Surgery never had pain, just soreness.

NOT likely to suggest seeing Dr Heider. I think we were scammed!! We went for the “free” seminar & scheduled an appt to see the dr. At our appt we discussed the type of surgery both my husband and I were seeking. Not even being APPROVED for surgery yet they charged $500.00 for each of us. The office said that is the fee to see a specialist. For what?? The girl then tells me “we have had a bunch of turnover here and she would check on why they charged us”. Nobody returns calls!!

I used Dr. Heider for gallbladder removal. Had no problems with the consultation or the surgery itself. After surgery, I struggled with pain because the pain meds made me very ill. I called the office on a Friday to request different meds and was told that they wouldn’t be able to do anything until Monday. Monday came and went with no contact at all from the office. I also spiked a fever 4 Days post-op, called the office and they sent me to voicemail! Horrible post surgery care!

Emergency Surgery...knowledgeable,very compassionate demeanor... Team as equally compassionate and I went from excruciating pain to walking upright in a few short hours. My surgical site is absolutely beautiful! Very little pain!
