I recently had LASIK surgery with Dr. Hodges and it is hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made! For years I had been told by other doctors/practices that surgery would be out of the picture due to the severity of my astigmatism, until Hodges Eye Care and Surgical Center did their testing and confirmed that I was in fact a candidate for the LASIK surgery. First, the people at Hodges really do care about their patients and their entire staff is highly competent and compassionate. This goes all the way from the surgery coordinator Diana, the nursing/tech staff, and all the doctors involved in my care. Dr. Hodges is very down to earth and his experience/credentials speak for themselves. I felt very confident in leaving my eyesight in his care. I extremely recommend Hodges Eye Care and Surgical Center for all of your eye care needs.

My initial consultation met all my expectations as staff and doctors were well informed and provided me with the needed information to make an informed decision. I have been going to Hodges since he started at Grimm many years ago. I have always been treated extremely professionally, kindly and considerately. He had taken me through multiple eye problems, surgeries and regular checkups. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I was recommended to Dr.Hodges Clinic for cataract surgery from Lens Crafter. My experience could not have been better for me. I found the staff and the Doctor very pleasant, knowledgeable and very informative. I knew the day I left when my surgery was scheduled and what type of lens I would need. I was very apprenhensive about having any type of surgery on my eyes. But I knew it had to be done. The employess went abaove and beyone makeing me feel comfortable.

Being age 74, I expect some level of communication from a doctor regarding observations, recommendations, etc. I found the entire staff including the doctor, to be lacking in basic skills of making a new patient feel welcome or that they were even present. I recently called the office to ask for a copy of my I prescription and was questioned by a clerk as to whether I had paid my copayment She said I would get a call back which I never did. I will never go back to this practice again.
