Dr. Lotze was dismissive towards my child when he could not find evidence of their neurological disease on tests that were out of date. He refused to rerun the tests and ignored the physical symptoms my child was experiencing. His office gatekeepers were nasty to me when I tried to explain that Dr. Lotze asked for a followup regarding results of genetic testing. The office repeatedly told me that Dr. Lotze was not available for 4 months despite him instructing me to call to get a next-week appointment. A very disappointing experience all around. I took my child to another specialist and was treated with respect and they were formally diagnosed with a rare degenerative genetic condition. Bottom line: Dr. Lotze prefers easy patients.
