Dr. Timothy Manoni, MD

The guy has given me 8 years so far of additional time alive. He cleaned out the artery in my neck and since I’ve been a new person. I wanted him to do other arteries but said if he did he’d guarantee me a stroke. Point is he’s got years of experience take advantage.

“I had a terrible experience at the vascular experts,Stamford location. The staff was kind and professional, Dr Manoni was dismissive of my concerns,made me feel rushed and didn't care to explain much knowing my insurance wasn't going to cover the vein treatment. He asked couple random questions and guessed at the end that my back could be the issue...he just said something to throw me off but didn't take my symptoms seriously.

Dr. Manoni performed carotid surgery on my mother after she had a mild stroke to remove a blockage from her artery to her brain at Stamford Hospital. Prior to the surgery he monitored her for 6 days to ensure she was a proper candidate for the procedure. He explained the procedure thoroughly, spent time going over risks, and will continue to monitor her annually for potential concerns. He has an excellent demeanor, and his confidence and reassurance truly helped me and my family through such a difficult time. The team at Stamford Hospital was also excellent. Feeling very blessed thanks to Dr. Mamoni and the crew. Thank You!

Like the other reviewer I had a negative experience because I didn’t like the way I was spoken to and rapport is very important. Said I was making a big deal overreacting etc and this was a big deal. When a doctor doesn’t listen and writes me off when speaking it’s time to look for another!

I wholeheartedly regret entrusting my vascular health needs to Dr. Manoni, who showed irritation, impatience, frustration and worse over several appointments. I'd prefer to forget his responses for simple questions I'd asked when I expressed difficulty and concern with my recovery. His responses were sarcastic, to put it mildly, and demonstrated a lack of listening skills--an unprofessional and unpleasant way for a doctor to behave.
