Horrible
Was misdiagnosed by Martin, ended up with a triple bypass. Almost died 2x because of errors, one being sewing a drainage tube site shut, fluid collect around my heart and I was coding. Sent to Madison after I was put in a medical coma because dbq was stumped. Madison said I shouldn’t have had bypass surgery. It was an artery spasm. Could have administered drugs Dubuque has horrible doctors

BEWARE!!! Dr Martin provided care to a friend of mine placing stents in 2 lower coronary arteries for treatment of an initial heart attack. My friend was sent home from the hospital ICU the next day but returned via ambulance that night with stroke symptoms likely from a clot. Again he was sent home the next day. I think he should have not been sent home so soon after an initial heart attack and then again with what was was diagnosed as a TIA (mini stroke). At a follow up appointment with a different cardiologist 4 days later my friend was told there was some blockage of a higher coronary artery. This is extremely more serious than a lower blockage as can cause instant death from a major heart attack. It appears Dr Martin either missed this or ignored it. My friend died of a massive heart attack 2 days later. I would not go to Dr Martin if my life depended on it and do not recommend AT ALL. BEWARE!!!!!

Totally professional care. If you are looking for someone to trade jokes, or make you laugh, go somewhere else. He didn’t over promise, or try to lead you away from the facts of your condition. He listened to my questions and answered them as best he could. He has a tough job, your heart takes time to heal, some things are out of medical professionals control.

I wish there was a never star! Stay away at all cost if you want to live!! My Father went to him complaining of extreme shortness of breath and was told to loose some weight. He had a belly but was not obese. Had this doctor done a heart cath he would have detected a 90% blockage and my father would still be alive instead of dying 2 months after seeing him!!
