I like him, however what I do not care for in his Coldwater office is that he isn't always there and you have to see one of his nurse practitioners. Then recently students began being there and one walked in and sat down. Didn't introduce herself or tell me who she was. After a couple minutes of lolly gagging, I enquired and she told me she was a senior in high school and wanted to become a surgeon. Now, why wasn't I treated with respect and asked if it was Ok on my end for a student to see me ? I felt extremely disrespected. I go there to see the doctor, not a high school student that hasn't a clue of what she's doing. Not only this, but I recently had surgery and at that hospital they were asking questions about my history and telling me things that were in my record, like past meds and they weren't deleted or noted to be discontinued. The NP's at his office fall short of doing their job.

My visit seemed nice, he was what seemed kind, courteous and concerned. However, after getting bloodwork done, he failed to let me know about my elevated blood sugar, even after I called and requested the results. It took not one, but two calls and then expressed my dismay before I was told what my blood sugar was. I had told Dr. Miller about my extensive family history of diabetes and what my symptoms were. He had me go have blood drawn and did a whole profile of things. When I called a week later, I was merely told my blood sugar was only mildly elevated, nothing to worry about by one of his nurses or staff. Well, after my continuing to have symptoms, I called again and had to insist on being told what my results were and my blood sugar. After about 20 minutes on hold, I was disconnected. Then, 45 minutes later Mercedes called me back to speak to me and that's when I found out about my slightly elevated blood sugar. I was there once and will never return again nor refer anyone there.
