Cancelling surgery with no follow up
Avoid! I was already hesitant to have my daughter's surgery at a surgery center. After my visits with Dr. Scott, I put my trust in him. We were all set up in the room ready to send our daughter back to the operating room and the manager came up to tell us they cancelled surgery for the rest of the day. There was zero explanation, no nurse came back to talk to us. This is already an emotional situation, let alone cancel. Where was Dr. Scott? He never came to say anything nor did he ever call to explain or apologize. I feel like this was a blessing that we avoided this disgusting man operate on my daughter.

Wonderful discovery
I was referred to this practice because my usual ENT was unavailable. From now on, Tim Scott will definitely be my go-to ENT. I came for annual earwax removal. When I described a strange symptom, Dr. Scott said he thought the problem was something else. He explained the probable condition in great detail and responded warmly to my many follow up questions. He suggested and made arrangements for me to get an important test to rule out a more serious complication. Once upon a time (go back fifty years, before medical care became a business), many doctors made an effort to get acquainted with their patients as actual people, and they tended to interact in an unhurried way. Medically astute and personally engaged: could it be that I am time traveling?

Avoid at all costs ~ very unprofessional
I saw Dr. Scott at the end of January 2022 for sinus problems. He ordered a CT, which demonstrated I needed sinus surgery. I agreed to have this done, his staff was supposed to call me ASAP to schedule. When his office did not call back after a week, I called to find out if my insurance approved the surgery, and indeed, they did; however, the scheduler said she could not schedule it at this time. When I did not hear back from his office 2 weeks later, I called his office again and was told, "Mrs..... I will call you when I have a date" A month later, I called again and again in April. Each time I left my cell number and email address, there could be no confusion about how to reach me. At the end of March, I had an appointment with a fabulous ENT MD at UCSF and scheduled surgery with the UCSF ENT physician. I have yet to hear from his office.

Prior to a seeing Dr. Scott I had been under the care of other ENT’s to treat reoccurring ear infections that were so painful they affected my jaw and bite with no resolve for many years. Dr. Scott figured our the route cause and I have been free of these infections now for a few years. Dr. Scott checked all the boxes in his treatment plan, really listened to me when explaining symptoms I was experiencing and made accommodations in seeing me when symptoms were at their worst. I highly recommend Dr. Scott!

In my opinion Dr Scott is shady. Don't expect any help unless you have a significant surgery where he can justify to the insurance and make money. He won't touch a minor surgery no matter how bad you need it and will keep giving you garbage advise and irrelevant medications. His office is even more pathetic and totally unorganized. Forget about any proper follow ups or getting your records back. The office manger and staff will simply tell you that all of sudden they don't have the records like a CD, DVD or films you gave them for review.

Very kind and compassionate. Gave me all the time I needed. He told step by step what he was going to do and what I would feel and he was 100% correct. He saved me after I recently saw on oral surgeon who was all too happy to charge me hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend him.

Totally bamboozled. Wow. My wife set an appointment for me because an x-ray from my oral surgeon showed a calcium deposit. I was in his office for maybe 10 minutes, he asked me get an MRI. Seemed pretty short and sweet. Then I get a bill for $1,000+ dollars, looking at the bill was $700 for a nasal endoscopy, wow. That was a whole 15 seconds for $700 and felt nothing more that steamed Vic's up the nasal cavity.

Dr. Scott came highly recommended by an OR doctor whohas worked with him and found him to be very competent. I went to him for evaluation and subsequent removal of a large maxillary sinus cyst. He lived up to the recommendation in every way. I got an appointment very quickly, his staff with friendly and courteous with me, and Dr. Scott himself was friendly, took time to answer my questions, and instilled confidence. I would recommend him to anyone, both for competence and demeanor.

Receptionist was rude. I was very sick and they told me I could have an appointment in two weeks! I have no idea if the doctor is good, since his staff totally blocked me from coming.
