Great doctor but waiting room time is a minimum of 1 hour sometimes 2

After seeing Dr Stout for 3 1/2 yrs every 6 weeks, and getting injections for my armd, I was very disappointed, almost distraught, to get phone call from Discover vision to learn of Dr Stout abruptly leaving. Leaving all of his patients to be assigned to other Opthamologists. In my case Dr Singh at the same location. I have misgivings about Dr Singh, such as no (white coat) , no gloves when he gave the injection, he called me "sweetie" Ihe wants me to come every 4 weeks. Dr Stour was excellent.

I was awake during 3 surgeries to repair a detached retina, so I could hear everything said in the room. #1 He did not have the proper size of 'buckle'. He continued anyway. #2 He forgot to bring his laser. He continued anyway. #3 Later, when he had his laser, he used it on me like a machine gun with no anesthesia. I found 2 other specialists, but the damage was done, and I lost that eye. Stay away!

Dr. Stout is an excellent physician. He is thorough, caring, professional, and always willing to take time with you, answer questions and explain completely. I have the most confidence in his care.

Dr. Stout took care of my retina tear right away. He is very professional and explained the procedure before and during the repair. I trust him to take care of any eye issues that require his expertise.

Everything went well. My little black bubble has gone away. I hope the procedure will help my eyesight. Will see you on the 19th of March. Rupert Dunn

None better. I had a bad tear in my retina that needed a specialist. I won't go into details but he fixed my problem when others could not. In my opinion doctors are God sent I will always appreciate their skills.

Dr Stout is professional in manner and attire. He explains situations fully and in understandable language, and he listens closely to concerns and questions.

Dr. Stout takes the time to explain procedures and listen to your concerns.

Both Dr. Stout and his assistant were attentive, explained the treatment, and performed the procedure without any issues. My condition was fully described along with their intentions for follow-up treatment(s). I have full confidence in Dr. Stout and his team.

Dr. Stout seeks the best treatment option for his patients that will create the most positive outcome. He is very experienced in unique problems with the eye. He has a no nonsense approach but it very respectful of his patients.
