Dr. Timothy Swindoll, DO

Dr. Swindoll is proactive towards my health and considerate to all of my concerns. I’m thankful that he is my doctor, very thankful! Also the Gastro staff is great too! Both Dr Swindoll and the Gastro staff should teach some of the other hospital clinics how to treat, speak and care for their patients.

Long over due review. I became a patient when my gastroenterologist suddenly left his clinic and there was no other gastroenterologist available on Maui that was accepting transfers. I initially was hesitant to have to go to Oahu to see a new doctor, BUT, it was the best decision I made regarding my gut health. Dr. Swindoll is thorough, asked all the right questions, a great listener and his nurses that I have dealt with are so efficient and friendly. They return phone calls and messages within a short period. So professional! The positive encounters I’ve had makes it so much easier navigating my health issues. I wish Maui residents had the same quality care available.

He is an excellent doctor in all regards. He helped me with a difficult post-surgical issue and even took the time to call my surgeon who is in another state to talk to her about the treatment plan. He is very personable, cares about what he does and most importantly, is effective.

My husband had C-Diff from taking antibiotics for a root canal in July. For 3 months, he had 3 relapses, 2 trips to the E.R., and a hospital stay. We found Dr. Swindoll’s profile and set an appt. He explained the options to treat C-Diff and took time to answer all our questions. We felt that if Dr. Swindoll could not cure my husband, we would have to move back to Los Angeles. My husband is off antibiotics for 5 months now, and has had no further relapses. Thank you so much, Dr. Swindoll.
