Dr. Vanderslice was my anesthesiologist for a recent surgery and I could not have been happier with his care. Several days before my scheduled appointment Doc called me to review lab results and address any concerns I might have. When I relayed an unpleasant experience with anesthesia in the past he listened carefully and assured me he could address the situation before it occurred, and he was true to his word. Not only did I not suffer any negative side effects he even called after surgery to confirm my wellbeing. I would highly recommend him.

I recently had an elective procedure and was super nervous about going under anesthesia as it was my first time. Dr Vanderslice could not have been more communicative, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He called me on his personal cell phone several times both leading up to the surgery and following it, to make sure I was feeling good and my questions were answered. I am a nervous patient and felt completely safe and secure in his care. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Vanderslice was my anesthesiologist for my loose skin removal. He was incredibly responsive - he called me before my surgery to walk through exactly what would happen on the day-of, he was responsive over text, and he called me a few days after to check-in on how I was doing with my pain medication and the recovery process. I can’t say enough about the wonderful work Doctor Vanderslice does in the field of anesthesia. My 21 year old son had to have surgery this Summer, and he was very uneasy about all phases of the process, and especially about the experience of being anesthetized. Dr. Vanderslice was able to allay his fears, and also provided effective anesthesia from which my son was able to recover quickly and completely, with no residual problems. Dr. Timothy Vanderslice is absolutely the best Anesthelogist in the city, and possibly the world. I have had a need for anesthesia numerous times over the past few years, and historically speaking, I have had a very, very challenging time coming out of if it. Then I met Dr. Vanderslice, and everything changed. The initial reason that I prefered him to any other Anesthesiologist was because of how thorough, professional and kind he is. And then, to my great surprise and relief, I found that I was actually able to wake up from anesthesia after a procedure without any of the monumental difficulty I usually experience in getting back to normal mentally speaking. Last month, my son had to have surgery, and I made sure that only Dr. Vanderslice took his case. The result was a perfect experience for my son, as expected. I recently had cosmetic surgery with Dr. David Cangello and Dr. Tim Vanderslice was the anesthesiologist. I cannot say enough about how caring and attentive he was before and after the surgery. He checked in with me the night prior to surgery to make sure I was following protocol and ready for the procedure the next day. He made me feel calm and safe throughout the experience.
