This happened 11/19/2019 at Tri-City hospital for Labor & Delivery. Dr. Dhillon-Ashley was the worst doctor! If you can avoid her please do. She decided form the moment my sister came in that she was going to give her a c-section. It's important to point out that this was before she even checked/met her and completely against her birth plan. When she finally did come in she was extremely rude to not only my sister (that was in labor), but to the nursing staff as well. After my sister made her wishes clear that she wanted to follow the labor and declined the csection, the Dr left the room and told the nurses to not to give her water or ice chips and asked the nurses not to let her actively move around even though that was also apart of her birth plan. After much pleading the nurses finally convinced her to let her use the birthing ball, which is how she was able to make it all the way to 4/5cm. Unfortunately the experience with this doctor did not end there.

I loved Dr. Dhillon-Ashley she was so caring, patient, and kind. Any questions or concerns I had she knew the answers to them, she helped me deliver my first child and it was the best experience ever. From all the pregnancy check-ups all the way up until delivery day she made me feel safe and at ease. Love her and would definitely recommend her to anyone!
