Dr. Tiphanie Vogel, MD

It takes awhile to get in but wow she knows her stuff and understands rare diseases. She works at a Children’s hospital so she can send off more labs that she would be unable to at an adult hospital. But she is double board certified and sees adult and child patients. I am confident that she will help me figure out a plan and continue to feel better.

Dr. Vogel is amazing, I’m so lucky I was pushed her direction in my journey to manage my immune-mediated periodic fever syndrome. It took 11 referrals over the course of a couple of years, after a lifetime of antibiotics and general doctors visits just thinking I had a crappy immune system and caught every cold that went around, but I am finally essentially completely symptom-free and managed. The cherry on top is the privilege of knowing one of the smartest, most hardworking individuals in Houston, and getting to enjoy her wonderful bedside manner at each visit. She is always seeking more knowledge and answers in the form of research for the betterment of all of us who suffer from auto immune illness, and is warm, friendly, and approachable while doing it. I owe my freedom to Dr. Vogel, before her I was worried I would never be able to enjoy traveling (safely) internationally, start a family or maintain a pregnancy, or even maintain steady work because of the frequency of my illness.

I can’t think of anyone I’d give a higher recommendation than Dr. Vogel. I received a rare disease diagnosis finally at age 35 from her within two appointments. I’m unfortunately not in pediatrics and have since moved to AZ. Most every other doctor won’t touch me with a 10 ft pole, very much wishing I had someone like her to help manage my care.
