Dr. Tisha Williams, MD

Dr Williams left tidelands health with no notice...I was left without a DR....I really trusted her and would like to know what happened?

In my opinion the absolute best Doctor and nurse Dotti in South Carolina. They both are always listening to your concerns.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Williams. She was my doctor in Murrells Inlet for about six years. She always gave me a thorough physical and she got me in quickly whenI was not feeling well. I was so disappointed when She left the area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for over 7 yrs and I will miss her very much! She is a considerate doctor who cares about her patients. She took time to talk about my health issues and suggest alternatives. She kept up with tests that were performed or needed to be. I have never had a doctor who cared as much about my health as she did. I know its going to be hard to find another doctor to replace her. I doubt I will. Good luck with your future.

I just called to make a appointment and was told that she is not practicing anymore. I'm so sad to see her leave the medical field. She was a down to earth caring physician who always made me feel comfortable and kept it real. I will miss her so much. I hope she is enjoying her life to the fullest. I also hope that she feels highly accomplished in life by all the people she has helped in her career. She was my favorite doctor and I would always brag about her talents. Although I didnt need to go to her regularly it was always a pleasure to visit her office.

Dr. Williams is a great doctor with care and managing health. Unfortunately I can't get in to see her. Her staff continuously calls to cancel my appointments. Dr. Williams is aware of this problem with her staff, but I need a doctor that I can see. I will not recommend her practice to any one.

The best doctor you will find. Dr Willams is a doctor of the “old days”. She cares about every patient and every appointment. She takes time to explain everything. And she has never been wrong with me after 10 years. She told me to have my gall bladder out before it was an emergency. I said “oh no...wait till it’s a problem”. She was right. 3months later I am in emergency surgery. And she didn’t even say “I TOLD YOU SO” though she could have. The only shame is she is now part of a health CORPORATION.......US Health big business. It’s a shame. But Dr. Williams still does her medicine her way. Her patients are the grateful recipients of her care.

Dr. Williams is wonderful. Unfortunately her support staff and office management is sorely lacking. I have been her patient for many years and have been a nurse myself for many more. I’m looking for a new primary care physician because I cannot even get something as simple as a routine prescription refill without multiple calls, messages, and sometimes resorting to physically going to the office. These are maintenance meds that I have stable on for many years and I have been seen in the office, had lab work, etc recently.

Not sure what is going on at this office, but I have been a patient for 3 years. They do not return any phone calls, cancelled my appointment once I got to the office, will not refill any prescriptions

I absolutely adore Dr. Williams! She comes into the room, sits with you and listens. I didn't have insurance so she literally figured alternative less expensive medications that I could take and get the best end result, for those that she couldn't work with in that manner, she found discounts for me. Doctors that actually listen and hear what you are saying are rare and I'm happy to have found that quality in her. Her staff and nurses are also top notch - thank you Dot for all you do as well!!

I am surprised to see negative reviews here. I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for the past 5 years. She is a very thorough MD with a pleasant and friendly manner. Her entire staff is wonderful and professional. I enjoy every visit to her office. Because she is part of Tidelands Health she has access to all my medical records from all the Tidelands facilities. I have recommended her practice to my friends and neighbors.

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for many years. She is very knowledgeable and caring. Her office staff is excellent. When I need a prescription filled it is done immediately. When I call you can talk to a person and not a machine, which is important to me. If on rare occasions you have to leave a message they return your call promptly! KC

Fr. Williams is great she listens and takes time to explain you treatment options. I would not use anyone else!

Dr. Williams not only has answers to your questions, she is a “real person”. She looks at your health and YOU! Someone I put all my trust and confidence in.

Dr. Williams is always kind and has a lot of time to listen to my needs. I really believe she wants the very best for me and my husband. She even see's my dad who is almost 87 and treats all of us as if we were her only patient.

She orders tests that are completely unnecessary, that I asked her not to do. I had to pay the entire lab bill out of pocket, $798.00. She would not even return my calls to discuss.

I have only had good experiences with Dr. Williams and her staff. It is very easy to get lab work which is usually done in the office. I have recommended her to a friend and she is also happy with her compassionate care.

Dr. Tisha Williams is very compassionate, I have seen here for the last 5 years, she takes the time to listen and is very thorough in evaluating your problem(s). I understand that her practice is no longer accepting new patients. I heard that she has approximately 6000 patients. The disappointing side to her practice is her support staff, both front office and nurses. They appear stressed, often inattentive, curt & miserable! They sometimes forget to call in scripts!
