Dr. Todd Adams, MD

I am 73 years old and switched from another gyn to him. Dr. Adams was able to sequence my Gyn problems in treatment and embodies great empathy and patience. He takes all the time I need at every appointment. One of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. He is terrifically smart. I am grateful to have him. Entire staff is super.

He is so knowledgeable and spent a significant period of time with me reviewing studies and addressing my concerns about menopausal symptoms.

Dr Todd Adams is a powerhouse of valuable information that dedicates every day he works to truly provide the best medical care and expertise to each of his patients. He is a physician that truly listens and wants to help you live your best life. His compassion and understanding are second to none. His knowledge regarding women’s health seems to have no end! Dr. Adams is a very caring, attentive ,detailed and personable doctor. You don’t find many doctors like him who makes you feel that they care and have your best interests at heart. He doesn’t rush, he takes his time with you, thoroughly explains things to you and explains the possible pros and cons of all the options you have for care…making sure you are thoroughly informed to make the best decision for you….he gives his recommendations without making you feel you’re not in control of your care. He is one of the best doctors I’ve come across in my 45yrs. I feel comfortable and safe about my care with him… it’s refreshing not to feel like just another number and a dollar. I highly recommend him…I rarely give reviews..but I was happy and privileged to leave this one. He is like the chic fi la of doctors lol…you know how every time you go to chic fi la you get great service great food all the staff are nice and accommodating well that’s Dr Adams and Lakeshore Women’s Specialists,

Dr Adams and his colleagues saw me throughout my pregnancy and I highly recommend their practice. Dr Adams delivered our baby and I can’t speak highly enough of him. He is extremely through and offers solutions to any questions or concerns. He is a truly compassionate doctor that listens to his patients and makes you feel like a person and not the number one can sometimes feel like in busy medical settings. You never feel rushed or that your question is unwelcome. He is very up to date on research and nutrition and will make recommendations on this, but never force a decision on you. (Note that I had no serious complications meriting any need for a mandated measure to save mine or my baby's life.) We wanted an unmedicated natural birth and the entire practice was receptive to it, positive, and listened to any concerns or questions I had regarding any standard practices. I hope to have any future children with this practice again and would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Adams spends ample time at every appointment answering my questions. I am never just told "Oh that's normal." He always takes time to explain WHY. Yes, this does increase your wait time in the exam room, but I promise that he is absolutely worth it! I had a scary and unexpected complication immediately following the delivery of my daughter and I'm afraid to think about the outcome had it not been for Dr. Adams. He truly cares for his patients and their families. He is absolutely the best!

Dr. Adams spends a lot of time with you to address your concerns. He is very approachable and seems very knowledgeable.

Dr Adams is an amazing doctor. I visited him thrice for my pre- natals and each visit was a great experience. He is super smart, calm and patient and will address all the concerns and questions one has. Sadly i had to leave Mooresville and i will miss the doc a lot. A big thumbs up for you in case you are looking for an OBGYN in this area. Take care
