I wanted to like him
I recently saw him at KAISER and was so bummed that I actually went to my car and cried. I had heard he was funny and nice but he was short, replies with very clipped answers, and I don’t feel like he was very helpful. He seems very preoccupied with how much people drink which I agree with but it had nothing to do with my visit. Ultimately I need a doctor who is kind and gentle even if that have to give me some hard truths. I felt like he was impatient and condescending. I have done a lot of work on my health and talked to a lot of specialists, nurses, and other doctors in my private life and MAYBE I was coming off like someone who sits on Web MD self diagnosing? I want to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just having an off day but I emailed and was very polite and again received clipped impersonal replies. I even said goodbye, nice to meet you, I really appreciate your time and his reply was “the exit is on your left” I do hope this review finds him

Dr. Antenucci is an affable and down-to-earth person. He makes it easy for a patient to discuss any health-related topic with him. He asks good questions and doesn’t make snap decisions. He’s been my doctor for several years now and I can’t imagine a better fit for my health care needs.
