A visit to Dr. Antin's office meant meeting with the doctor for 5 to 10 minutes. During my last and final visit, Dr. Antin actually checked his phone and sent a text while I was talking to him. The medications he prescribed me caused major side effects which I brought to his attention in every visit. He claimed it was "impossible" that I was having side effects despite what the manufacturers' websites said. He actually told me I would likely be having those symptoms even if I was taking a placebo. Do not seek treatment from Dr. Antin if you are looking for a doctor that cares, or even pretends to care, how your symptoms are affecting your life. It is apparent that he thinks very highly of himself, and it's that narcissism that got in the way of my treatment. I felt worse every time I left his office.

I was referred to Dr. Antin last year. My first appointment was with an assistant and a $30 copay. The total appointment lasted for 2-3 hours; Dr. Antin came in at the end. Asked a couple of questions & he was gone (I never saw or spoken to him again). They ended up prescribing meds & set me up with another appointment. The next appt...$30 copay... I was told it was to speak with the therapist to start my first session. NOPE! A student came in asking questions & wanted me to be apart of her case study. What?!?! I haven’t spoken to an actual therapist. when I refused the case study, the nurse came in to ask about the prescribed meds. At this point I was annoyed. I just got off working a 12 hour night shift to be here talking about meds? You could’ve called me. Still haven’t spoken to a therapist (Robin) I made an appointment last week for Wednesday. Payed a $30 copay AGAIN. I had a 2:30pm appt via phone... 3pm no call... 3:15... no call... 3:30, no call... I called the desk & was tol

Wonderful experience NOW ( for the past 6years) before the wait times were deplorable but not anymore. The front office staff still remains awful but the med students, NP, and Dr Antin or awesome. I would really ask that a person who needs care... see him!!!

I've seen Dr. Antin and 2 of his therapists for over one year and I'm very pleased. I've never had any problems with the admin side (appointments, waiting room, billing). I love the amount of time Dr. Antin spends with me - much more thorough than other Drs seen for Rx and also much more personal interest and better bedside manner. I highly recommend this practice to anyone struggling with depression. Love that they are covered by my insurance and in my neighborhood.

I've been seeing Dr. Antin for several years. As with most doctors, the front desk is a weak link. It also can take a while for calls to be returned by the appointment desk. I don't like it, but it is what it is. As far as Dr. Antin is concerned, I've never had a better psychiatrist. He is personable, compassionate, pragmatic, & has helped me immensely. He makes himself available if I have a problem. I feel like he really listens and understands my issues. I would highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Antin over 7 yrs and my experience has been great. I've seen several psychiatrist and they are so quick to dismiss you and talk to you for 5 min and just prescribed you medicine. He takes his time and listen to my concerns. I would recommend him to anyone.

Front desk people are horrible. Disorganized and antagonistic. Long wait times and the systems are inefficient. Never helped with anything. Waste of time and money and not worth the aggravation.
