Not someone I would ever see
He didn't like my questions, refused to answer me for specific information about the medications. I explained that I needed anti nausea medicine because I always vomit after surgery and he told me he would decide what I needed. I am a RN with years of PACU, ICU experience. He is the worst rude, arrogant, nasty anesthesiologist I've ever encountered and I have worked with and been cared for by many. He needs to be gone.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
A Horrible ExperienceToday was my surgery day at Monadnock Hospital 02.12.5 which didn't happen due to the appalling way I got treated by a monster called Todd Fontaine. NOTE all the nurses, receptionists and my surgeon himself were wonderful! This horrible person entered the room already with an attitude, cold, impersonal but I ignored it and gave him a chance. However, the first thing out of his mouth was an extremely rude complaint to the nurse because he found a misspelled word on the paper he was reading, he told her, who wrote this? Can we get people here who is able to write proper English? He then asked me about medications and when I tried to answer it fully, he interrupted me and said HE was a doctor and he already knew about medications! WHAT??Then he said he refused to be enslaved by me. WHAT?? Then he tried to blame it all on my anxiety, which I had none before he entered the room. He was the most arrogant, perverse, rude, egotistic Doctor I ever encountered.

My rating is a zero. I went in for a colonoscopy and he came into the room to ask me some questions. I asked him ONE question; I asked him what medication he was going to give me. His response was “I ask the questions, you answer, and we’ll be done a lot quicker.” He was the rudest, most arrogant and condescending doctor that I have ever met. That is a horrendous way to treat a patient. I refused to let him give me any medication and my GI doctor gave me a sedative instead. I am a nurse and I tell you that A PATIENT HAS A RIGHT TO KNOW what medication they are being given and everything else about their treatment. If you have a doctor that does not inform you of what they are doing and of your treatment then run the other way and find a doctor who will. I will be reporting this doctor further, other than just this review.
