I recently had an ear lobe reduction and repair by Dr. Hanna. He is an exceptionally gifted and highly skilled surgeon. His approach was truly one reflective of a great aesthetic sense and precise appreciation of the facial anatomy. The restructured ear lobes were proportionate and appropriate for my face. I am thrilled with the results. My ear lobes had sustained significant injury over the decades including tearing and widening of holes following re-piercing and then with many years of wearing heavy earrings, the ear lobe became distensible, there was ear lobe asymmetry, and each had vertical scars. Prior to the otoplasty Dr. Hanna had also performed a face lift which was flawless as discussed at length in a prior review. What I can state very emphatically is that regardless of the complexity of the procedure you are undergoing you are in the best hands with Dr. Hanna. Finally, he exudes warmth, compassion, patience, empathy and kindness. In closing, he is simply perfect!

Dr. Hanna is a world-class surgeon. But unlike many who share the title of “surgeon”, Dr. Hanna is foremost a human being who displays empathy throughout the course of treatment. The doctor’s specialized skill and training are all well documented. What you really want to know by reading this is whether you’ll be treated well. Saying that Dr. Hanna is a great doctor feels like an understatement. Until you meet him you will not fully understand what I mean. His knowledge coupled with his ability to explain things in a clear yet complex way instantly puts you in a rare medical setting. My daughter and I were there for an almost two hour consultation and every time he left the room we were whispering about how amazing he was and how thorough he was. Fast forward almost 7 months post complex double jaw surgery and we are still talking about how unbelievable Dr. Hanna is! His office is beautiful yet warm and his staff are all individually kind and in tune to patient care. Her surgery was an unusual case and Dr. Hanna was methodical in planning and executing it. Recovery was rough but Dr. Hanna and his staff were always available for any need that arose. I had always wanted to get lip injections but was worried I would be left with an unpleasant result. I looked at countless of photos online and, for the most part, everything looked unnatural and unappealing. I came across photos of Dr. Hanna’s work and was extremely impressed. I have been seeing Dr. Hanna for a few years now for subtle cosmetic treatment (botulin and lip filler). Dr. Todd Hanna is in a league of his own. Personally, he exudes a kind, respectful, positive, and calming presence, and cares deeply for his patients. Professionally, his work is meticulous, detail-oriented, natural, understated, and he is at the absolute top of his field. He is an excellent surgeon, and the only one in NY who creates an actual custom chin implant. Other doctors falsely claim that trimming a silicone implant to rest on the chin is "custom," whereas Dr. Hanna digitally creates and manufactures a titanium implant that is truly customized for each individual patient that will NEVER migrate and end up in a patient's cheek! He deserves a million stars! Do yourself a favor and if you are looking for an oral or maxillofacial surgeon, or a head and neck reconstructive surgeon...look no further than Dr. Hanna! Dr. Hanna is the absolute GOAT! I saw a local plastic surgeon who did a chin implant with some submental liposuction for me previously. I didn't hate the outcome, but I was expecting it to be slightly better. Dr. Hanna's skillset with jaw surgery is unparalleled. Without ever being condescending, he explained to me the difference between a chin implant and a sliding geniotomy and the pros/cons of them. He is more than a surgeon, but also an aesthetic artist. We decided to remove my chin implant and do the sliding geniotomy, do some more submental lipo in addition to buccal fat removal, and add jaw implants. It was like he knew in my head this was the look that I was initially going for that the other surgeon couldn't get to. I am still early in the healing process but I am THRILLED with the result. I had some very minor post-operative complications that have since resolved but Dr. Hanna was so attentive and diligent with checking in on me and making sure everything healed.
