Dr. Todd Kraemer, MD

Both visits to either the downtown Columbia or Clemson Rd locations; those who assisted me were very welcoming, polite, and showed they cared about us patients and each other. 10 stars well deserved!

I finally found a doctor here since I've moved here to SC. Dr. Kraemer took his time to explain somethings I did not understand and offered suggestions. I did not feel rushed for my appointment. In addition, I asked him a questions regarding my special needs daughter ( who was not with me) and he listened to my concerns and with no problem and we came up to a solution. In addition, the front staff, nurse and lab staff were courteous.

I had an appointment with an RN at this practice who is NAMS approved and she recommended me to Dr. Kraemer because I want my uterus removed and she claimed “he would find a reason to remove it.” Perfect. I have always had heavy periods (leading to chronic anemia) and bad cramps. Now that I am over 40 and done with kids, I want it out. I went to the appt with Dr. Kraemer and he said, “we can remove your uterus, but I think you should keep your ovaries.” I hadn’t asked him to remove my ovaries, but when I asked follow-up questions, his whole demeanor changed. He did not like being questioned. At one point he said I wasn’t in menopause, which I already know, and when I mentioned perimenopause, he acted like he had never heard of it. He then said he wouldn’t remove my uterus just to solve my “emotional issues” (I was mad because he was rude!?), which is funny because he was fine removing it for funsies. It really is hard to find a Dr who cares for you once you’re no longer having babies.

I would absolutely recommend this practice to others. I flew all the way from Alaska to be seen by Dr Kraemer. I felt like He listened to me and he responded immediately to my concerns. I left his office with a plan for treatment. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood. I will continue to see Dr Kraemer in the future. No matter where I live I will come back to Dr Kraemer.

West Columbia location: Have been a patient of Dr. Kraemer and this practice for over 12 years. The internet went down and halted all services for over an hour. During this time, patients in the lobby began to become agitated. There was no communication but instead we were talked to in a rude and disrespectful way from the female at the front desk when we asked questions Once I was in the back the African American medical assistant, taking my vitals made several snarky remarks. 1. As I’m on the scale, I tilt a little to adjust myself and she says “can you wait til I see and hear the beep” in a rude tone. 2. Then as she took my BP she asks several questions due to it being high, then I respond with no and she says “oh you must be mad at us then”. I understand things happen, but it’s the way it is handled makes a huge difference in my opinion. I am truly debating on not returning. Dr. Kraemer truly is an amazing doctor. But his staff makes it hard to continue being a patient.

He’s great! Quick and to the point but addressed every concern. Highly recommend.

Dr kraemer is the best at explaining the whole picture

Dr. Kraemer has great bedside manner, however after my surgery I would of liked for him being that he was the surgeon to come speak with me about what was performed and how the surgery went. I was at Baptist hospital and the nursing staff all told me that they didn't have information or that I needed to speak with him. Finally the hospital charge nurse got him on the phone in which he did talk to me but sounded more of that I was an inconvenience

I have always had nothing less than a fantastically caring, respectful and medically competent experience with each and every person who works here.

I love everyone in this office! Dr. Kraemer helped me so much and after some time, I had a beautiful baby girl! Here's to round 2! ???

I love coming to Kraemer Women's care. The doctors, the nurse practitioner, and the nurse are very friendly, they care about your health,and they make you feel welcome. The receptionist at all the locations are sweet,and they make sure you have all the paperwork that you need. Overall this is a great place to come and get quality care.

I have been going to Dr Kramer for years always seeing the FNP she retired last year so the new FNP Ashley Munn was going to be my new one, scheduled my appointment fir 8:30 and she is running late first appointment. Reschedule my appointment for two weeks get there yesterday and she is running late again after waiting 45 min the nurse comes in to tell me that she will be in late stuck in traffic. Not pleased at all with this if you know your hours are 8:30-5 why are not on time. Have found another doctor.

Dr. Kraemer is very knowledgeable, and professional. He diagnosed my issue quickly, recommended a course of action, explained the pros and cons of his recommendations. I felt very confident in his recommendations. I would highly recommend him. He is the best Ob/GYN that I have experienced.

A truly caring doctor who goes above and beyond to ensure the safety of both the mother and her baby. He took so many precautions during my pregnancy and because of those precautions, my baby is alive and well.

I have only had experience with NP Wilburn and Dr. Reynolds. They are both understanding and helpful. However the staff is a different story. The patient portal tells you nothing important about your visit. Cannot call directly to office, the answering service cannot understand you and you cannot understand them as well. I would not recommend this office. It would be so nice if NP Wilburn was affiliated with a different practice. Things were a lot different when Dr. Reynolds was in private practice.
