Cares more about being paid
I needed a new primary care doctor after I moving here. I thought finding a DO might get me a doctor that cares more since they typically don’t get into med school, and fight to become a provider. In this case, I was wrong. He is not sympathetic or compassionate to any situation. I had a small increase in liver labs, & I’m a healthy 30 year old. He made me feel like a bad person for wanting to have a glass of wine with dinner sometimes. On another occasion, I saw his office colleague for an urgent care visit. Two days later I ended up with a Covid test that was positive. I called in to ask for a cough medication. Even though I was physically at his office, two days prior, he was unwilling to help unless I pay him for a video visit.. to get cough medicine. I will not be returning to this guy. I have seven years of ICU nursing experience at elite hospitals and am very knowledgeable in regards to healthcare. He’s not worth it. He doesn’t belong with Hoag.
