Dr. Nickloes did not display the kind of care I have become used to from doctors, and the experience left me feeling off-kilter and even a little violated. When he went to physically examine me, he did so without announcing he was going to: he manipulated my body, moved around my clothing and touched me, all without warning. I can't think of another doctor who has done that. When I asked him questions, he told me at least twice that he would not answer them because he found them "leading." Do you beat your wife, he asked rhetorically, in case I didn't know what a leading question was. When I said I was worried about COVID, he sighed heavily, hid his eyes behind his hand and then asked if I knew what my problem was. When I said no, he said I worried too much. I could go on. It was an unsettling experience. To his credit, he sent me to specialists. His staff were friendly and efficient. But he was lacking in basic respect. Needless to say I found another surgeon (who was awesome).

It is near impossible to get anything done in a timely manner with Dr. Nickloes. The office is slower than dirt and no one at Dr. Nickloes's office bothers to follow-up. When you do finally manage to get an appointment with Dr. Nickloes be prepared to spend at least an hour plus sitting in a patient room to then spend 5 mins with Dr. Nickloes
