Avoid
Dr. Hebert has typical God complex, that of which some physicians fall to, however he is not going to give you the best care you need. Avoid this doctor at all cost and if he ends up your doctor, do not let him push you into a decision without getting a second opinion, especially if your condition is dire

I was a patient of Dr Herberts! He had incredible bedside manner and was so careful of my unique situation. I had a post-pardom stroke otherwise known as CVST. He followed me throughout the hospital as I moved from ICU to another floor. I am alive and a mama to my 3 sweet kiddos because of his care!

Worst experience of my mother in laws life. My mother in law was seen by Dr. Herbert while planning on being admitted to the hospital. He proceeded to berate her for her weight, saying that he “hadn’t want to hear her excuses” for being overweight. He claimed that she was overeating without any bedside manner, but he never really asked for the truth: her problem isn’t overeating, it’s not eating enough. Our entire family of 6 spend our time convincing her to eat, only for 4 bites to be eaten before she’s full. It was horrid bedside manner, and even worst discrimination. Not all people who are big overeat. Some have thyroid, health issues, etc that cause weight gain, and the doctor, who had been kind up to that point and entirely humiliated her, broken her down and no longer wanted to accept help. I get people have bad days, but it’s sad to see that someone who is actually capable of bedside manner speak to someone in such a way that they would be so upset and leave the hospital.

My family met Dr Herbert in the ICU. We faced an end of life situation that was only able to be dealt with through the attentive, compassionate, and whip smart insights provided by Dr Herbert. We quickly came to trust his instinct to help our dad by avoiding painful and invasive care and work toward making the end a quality experience for our dad. He is still Dr Herberts patient in the ICU and we will be grateful for the rest of our lives that he was a part of this experience.
