Dr Thomas is fantastic!
Dr Thomas has been my endocrinologist for more than 5 years and I've always been very pleased with him. He has always listened carefully to me, I never feel rushed in my visits, he is open to trying different courses of care for my health. With his help, I was able to finally manage my diabetes well for the first time in 20 years. He has great follow through with things he says he will do, is very responsive to online messages. During Covid, even with telehealth visits, I felt like I got the same attention that he's always given. All around, he's been fantastic!

No Compassion !!!!!
My son's first visit was not a pleasant one. His delivery of my son's diagnosis was very harsh and he showed no empathy or compassion to a newly diagnosed patient. And because of this my will not be returning this seems be the culture of Kelsey-Seybold and this is sad.

worst bedside manners
Absolute worst doctor I have ever dealt with in my life. I went in there with symptom after symptom to be told that I was making it up and it was all in my head. I had lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks and he told me it was 'because I was trying' ( I wasn't trying at all). I had swelling in my legs and he told me that was in my head. I left the appointment crying. I scheduled with another doctor and was told I was textbook hyperthyroidism. Do NOT use Dr. Thomas.

Worst bedside manner ever experienced
I accompanied my daughter to this Kelsey Dr. He was rude, short, and didn't answer questions. When he gave us flat out false information, I called him on it. His response 'well that's how it is at Kelsey' instead of acknowledging his wrong words. He made my daughter cry, and never answered the questions she asked. He was unkind, and loud. We had to ask him to add more testing as he ignored half of the reason we were there. Honestly, he judged us from the beginning and decided he would be short. He also used words that no one outside of medical school uses.

Although my initial visit with Dr. Thomas was positive, subsequent visits proved otherwise. He spends more time typing than listening. Dr. Thomas believes that if your bloodwork is in the normal range, there's no reason why you shouldn't feel terrific - even if symptoms prove otherwise. Our bodies are much more complicated than that.

I would give this doctor a zero too! He charged my account without my knowledge. Disappointed patient. I would tell anyone to find another doctor! The staff is extremely rude and not professional.

I had a totally different experience than most people on here. I found him to be extremely attentive, thoughtful, and engaging. He explained my blood work in great detail, gave me a lot of treatment options, and worked through the choices with me with a very high regard for my input. We even discussed our kids, the challenges of fatherhood, and our jobs. It was actually the most honest, personal experience I've ever had with a doctor. He's very high energy and a little quirky, so that may explain the complaint that he talks over people. But I really enjoyed my visit with him and would highly recommend him.

Only gave this one star because I couldn’t give 0 stars but this by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a physician before, felt less broken finding out that I had a brain tumor!!! I didn’t even make it all the way through my visit without breaking into tears after he tried convincing me repeatedly that I am diabetic and trying to give me injectable diabetes medication!!! Never seeing him again, total waste of my $30 copay and my time!

I observed Dr. Thomas to be condescending, argumentative, hostile and dismissive. An attitude like, “Hello, how can I find a way NOT to help you today?”. I seldom write reviews, but this is for the public’s good. My visit with Dr. Thomas was the worst experience I ever had with any professional tasked with helping me as a patient. Not only would I not recommend him, I actually considered changing from the healthcare service provider, who is still tolerating, enabling and retaining him.

I will never go back to him; very inpatient and unwilling to listen. He actually stated he was irritated because my labs were normal. You would think that would be a good thing because it means his prior medication plan worked...but no...he basically yelled at me and told me to go see my PCP because he would be held liable for the visit?? I do NOT recommend.

Dr. Tom Thomas is not interested in helping or listenening to your concerns and needs. He is not up to date with new medical information and does not care of you have done your own research. If you choose to see Dr. Thomas know that you are going for his benefit, not yours.

Speaks a lot and does not listen very well to the patient. I went due to low T and he challenged my previous physician's diagnosis and only based his diagnosis on my lab results, which he did not have both tests available because I took them yesterday. I would not recommend this physician.

He's an Authoritarian. He didn't welcome any questions or thoughts from me. And, he takes forever to release labs. Soooo glad I don't ever have to go back there.
