Rude, uncompassionate
Dr. Centanni had no sympathy for any of my pregnancy symptoms. No meds prescribed for first trimester nausea. Had UTIs the entire course of pregnancy and only at the end was I put on a preventative medication. Was told that it was due to my being unhygienic, despite the fact that I never had a UTI in my life until pregnancy. Turns out I had a kidney stone that was causing them. She documented on my medical chart that I had 'labial herpes' (cold sores), which I do, but insisted I take a herpes medication prior to delivery so I don't transmit herpes to the baby, which is impossible unless I was to deliver orally. With my second pregnancy, both my new OB and my high risk OB confused her diagnosis of 'herpes labialis' with genital herpes. They refuse to have this removed from my medical records, which has unnecessarily caused confusion, embarrassment, and misdiagnoses.

Thoughtful, thorough and paitent practitioner
Today I had my second visit to Dr. Centanni for menopause-related symptoms. She was very thorough and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions, explain the science behind her recommended treatment and also outline the differences between alternative solutions. She also went above and beyond by taking the time to examine my leg (for reasons completely out of her realm of expertise), easing my concerns about an infection I have been dealing with as I wasn't able to get in to see my PCP quickly. Highly recommend!

It's not the doctor that's the issue
I had absolutely no problem with this doctor it's her staff that are atrocious. They say they're going to call you back and never do they don't give you an explanation on why they haven't called you back they are completely unprofessional. I was told I need to see the specialist in their office back towards the middle of July and no one has called back to set up an appointment I have called multiple times and still nothing has been resolved...

Not only would I never recommend her to my family and friends, I wouldn't even recommend her to my enemies. Awful - her whole demeanor changed when she found out I had Medicaid. Not helpful or caring.

If your pregnant I wouldn’t recommend going to her she will not care to let you know if test don’t look right. And if you question any test you are concerned about she will just say it’s common.

She's great. Very maternal and kind. Follows up on everything. She's tough and to the point...not puppies and rainbows. I appreciate that. Her office staff is awesome!

I started going to Physicians for Women aprox 15 years ago, after my original Dr retired from that practice i was so sad. Unsure who to see I took a chance with Dr Centanni, finding her so caring, compationate and thorough. Shes easy to talk too and she made my transition easy. I would highly recommend her definately five stars.
