Referred by my primary care internist who has very high standards. High energy, engaged, focused, easy to communicate with, professional, explains results of colonoscopy.

Kind. Passionate. Caring. Thinks outside of the box. I have Gastroparesis. Explains things thoroughly. Answers any questions or concerns I may have. Together we are able to talk things out & discuss anything & options. Dr. Soffer is on top of it! Returns calls within a timely manner, even if she’s at home! Last March, Dr. Sofer came in on a Sunday to Cedars Sinai ER to do an emergency Endoscopy colonoscopy on myself. I had an upper GI bleed which Dr. Sofer was able to clamp and stop te bleed. Also, turns out I have a rare blood disease of which she called in my hematologist. She is very caring!Had to see her again in August for another bleed. And am actually seeing her today with a different problem. You are in wonderful hands with Dr. Sofer

Dr Sofer at L.A. Gastro consulted my about his ER issue, scheduled his colonoscopy in Beverly Hills. Then rescheduled it to Glendale Sur Ctr. Husband had his colonoscopy w/Dr Sofer. Sent him his results but GHOSTED him completely!! Dr Sofer never called us back after leaving several messages w/Breeze. Office told us his PCP office could go over results with him. The PCP office that was odd but was kind enough to do it. No follow up, no going over results of biopsy, no return call. They would not even schedule appt. Breeze at their office said they no longer accept his insurance. Ok weird & fine. Today I find out per my healthcare job this doctor does accept this insurance. So not only does this office ignore patients and has stalled my husband’s care. Since we are having to wait months for another procedure with another GI. They lie!!! Beware!

Dr. Sofer was the first doctor that listened to me about my symptoms instead of brushing them off. I’ve been pretty sick for the past few years from this and because I’m a young woman, most doctors have been brushing it off as IBS, even though it does not match those symptoms. Dr. Sofer is the first to bring compassion and clinical skill back to care.

Very thorough and I felt she really cares about what she does. Also, felt like I was in good hands. She treated both myself and my husband. Would trust her with my mother.

Dr. Tova Sofer seems sweet and lovely in person, but she doesn’t care about your health or your needs. She will not return your call even after multiple urgent messages and all of this delay will drag out your treatment just like it did mine. Wait longer to see a better doctor, I swear it will be worth it. I have been in pain and suffering for 6 months and if I could go back, I would wait 6 more for a decent doctor!

Absolutely amazing GI doctor! I have been seeing her for a few years for my IBS symptoms. She is so caring and spends quality time with me. I am so happy to have found her. I was seeing another GI doctor before but was still having a lot of stomach pain. After starting to see Dr. Sofer I feel so much better - I finally feel like I have my life back!

Excellent doctor. Dr. Sofer performed my colonoscopy yesterday, following her thorough explanation of the procedure and discussion of my anesthesia allergies and past colonoscopy results. She was totally accommodating to my requests and performed at the highest levels of patient care. I was very impressed and pleased with Dr. Sofer and her team. I highly recommend Dr. Sofer.

Rude, condescending and not interested in helping her patients. Disregarded everything I said to her and showed absolutely no compassion.

Borderline racist. But she's a woman and a "minority' so its cool
