Rude, Disrespectful, Unprofessional
Had the misfortune of Dr. Bratton being our Hospitalist today. When questioned about a directive that hadn't been completed for a patient with a head wound, he informed us the directive didn't exist. However, the directive was verbally shared by the previous Hospitalist and multiple others. It was also seen by two separate people, on the patient's MyHealth account. After being informed of this, he became visibly agitated and questioned our attitude and push back about the discrepancy. He also went on to point out that the 'look on our face' as his reasoning for questioning our frustration and proof of our rudeness towards him. In the end, he was wrong, there had been a directive and it was performed. There was never an apology for the error or his poor behavior and handling of the situation. Hoping he doesn't treat everyone he encounters with such a rude, disrespectful, combative and unprofessional manner. Very disappointing and another mark against Baptist Health Hospital.
