Absolutely love Dr. Cawthorn, I’ve been seeing her over 2 years and from day one, she was professional, very easy to talk to and very caring. I had seen several psychiatrist before I found her, others would make me feel like I was just another person with my diagnosis and wanted to push pills. Dr. Cawthorn actually listen to me and we together found out what works for me, not what was convenient. I recommend her highly to everyone.

Dr. Cawthorn was extremely caring, attentive, and patient. She was very professional, approachable, and easy to speak to openly. Her concern for my care was genuine, and she listened before discussing any medications. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who is understanding, down-to-earth, and thorough in explaining and collaborating with you about medications that are best for your individual well-being.

Dr. Cawthrone is knowledgeable, informed and takes time to assess and teach . I am forever grateful to her . Before I met her I was on so many meds and been misdiagnosed. I am thankful to have met Dr. Cawthrone. She respectful, informative and Courteous. Allows a safe space to one open up so that she can be able to help. Her staff at mindful innovations are courteous, and quick response time. I highly recommend to anyone needing help.

Dr. Cawthorn is a terrible psychiatrist. On my first visit she was texting on her phone, saying her son got in trouble at school. Seemed very confused like she didn’t want to be there. Then continued to say I was a ‘problem patient’ while smiling in a joking way because of all the medicines I was on. Then continued to say that she could tell I was on a medicine for bipolar by calling it ‘dopeamax’ and made fun of me for struggling to find words, (side effect of the rx). Thankfully my mom was there as I shut down and couldn’t even look at her. She explained I suffered bullying in school and didn’t appreciate her being a bully and making fun. It took everything to not cry or explode. I’ve never met a doctor in my life as rude, unprofessional, and a flake as her. I was desperate for my continuity of care, but I had to beg her to refill my medicines. My mom sent numerous emails, she would say she would call them in but didn’t. This happened every single visit. I couldn’t take more than 5. Then got terminated because the ‘doctor patient relationship was beyond repair’. Don’t risk whatever sanity you have left with this woman. You will leave her worse than you went in.

Dr Cawthorn has never supervised Dr Beech
I have never met Dr Beech not have I ever supervised her. It’s important to have a psychiatric team including Dr Beech, psychologist, you can have confidence in. Dr Cawthorn is a medical doctor who provides therapy and medication. I wish you well finding the mental health team who will best fit. Best of luck. Dr Cawthorn

Dr. Cawthorn assisted me in getting my life turned around. I was misdiagnosed and incorrectly medicated for almost 20 years. My previous doctor had me on nine medications. When I came to Dr. Cawthorn I was freshly divorced, a new parent, and in the worst depressive episode of my life. In my first session, she was able to diagnose me properly and adjust my medications to fit my situation. Within days the change was noticeable, and my life has been significantly better ever since. I’ve been promoted three times at my great job, my personal relationships are healthy, I am a better adjusted parent, and I have been able to refrain from substances that I had issues with in the past. If I hadn’t seen Dr. Cawthorn and been properly prescribed the correct medications, I might not be here to write this review. Give her a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Pretty awful experience
I wish I could give as detailed a review as some of the other people here, but Cawthorn couldn't even be bothered to get off her phone or look me in the face while I spoke so I'm at a bit of a disadvantage. My family doctor is fantastic and recommended her, but when I told him about my experience he promised not to recommend her to anyone else. I was coming out of a major depressive episode caused by previously undiagnosed bipolar disorder, and messing up my treatment could have resulted in mania or made me suicidal again. She was so inattentive that I consulted my family doctor (how is also bipolar) to make sure the treatment she recommended wasn't dangerous and ask for a different referral.

I started seeing Dr. Cawthorn about two years ago. Finally being diagnosed and starting treatment completely changed my life. She is kind, she listens, she’s knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond for her patients. I can’t imagine where I’d be if I wasn’t in her care. I am in such a better place in my life because of the help that I received from Dr.Cawthron. I highly recommend seeing her!

Great Doc
My experience with Dr. Tracey Cawthorn (from the initial phone call seeking services) to the actual treatment and care I have been receiving from Dr. Cawthorn has exceeded any and all healthcare expectations I have ever had. As a healthcare worker myself, I know firsthand how difficult it is to provide quality, compassionate, and individualized care for people within our healthcare system. After I retired from the Army, I was bounced around from Psychiatrists to Psychiatrists before finding her. I did some research beforehand, then took the leap and scheduled my first appointment. I have been a patient of Dr. Cawthorn for almost 2 years now, she has already helped me tremendously with her kindness, thoroughness, and non-judgmental approach to treatment. It is clear that she sees her patients as a "whole person". She is extremely knowledgeable, validates you as a human being. Definitely give their office a call if you are seeking services and don't know where to start - Start here.

I have been with Dr Cawthorn going on 2 years, When I started I had extreme depression, I was abusing alcohol and attempted suicide at one point. I was in such a dark place and finally decided I needed to get help. I must say I have never have had a doctor care for me as much as she has. She makes every attempt to make sure I am doing ok. Every time we have our appointment she listens to me and sometimes I share what is going on in my life because she takes the time to get to know her patients and also makes me feel comfortable. She recently moved to a new office and I followed her over because I am not going to find another psychiatrist like her. I am very grateful to have found her. Highly recommend her.

Highly recommend her
Today I saw Dr Hawthorn on telehealth and she is just as attentive as she is in office visits. She listened carefully to my concerns so that I don't feel rushed. She is very helpful in her explanation of my medications and how I am to take them. I always leave her feeling that I have been taking care of. Highly recommend her.

A rare doctor - go see her!
Dr. Cawthorn is the most wonderful psychiatrist that I have ever seen. She listens to needs with full attention and compassion. She has gone through her own trials with life, and I have never faced any judgment from her. She has immense emotional intelligence and continues to retain a broad knowledge of medicine. My life has changed after meeting her. I hope she continues to help others for many years to come.

Best psychiatrist with compassion
I’ve never met any psychiatrist who really takes the time to perform a thorough evaluation. I felt she was so compassionate and really understood because she focused. I’ve never had a meeting a psychiatrist who wasn’t typing or hurrying you out. I’m never going anywhere else.

Amazing experience
I had an amazing experience with Doctor Cawthorn. I was a little uneasy about seeing a psychiatrist before I went in and right away she made me feel completely at ease and I was able to be myself. She listened wholeheartedly as I spoke and offered suggestions and explained them throughly about how I should proceed forward!! She was friendly and completely professional!! I look forward to my next appointment with Doctor Cawthorn!

Worst psychiatrist I’ve been too
I have been to numerous (5+) psychiatrists in my life and never have I met anyone a bigger disgrace to the profession than Dr Cawthorn. I understand that many psychiatrists become apathetic to their patients as a result of burnout. Dr Cawthorn, however, was far worse than just apathetic. I felt like a nuisance and as if I was being looked down upon the entire time. When she pretended to listen her face was almost laughably insincere. I don’t ever leave reviews like this for anything, but when it comes to something as important as a psychiatrist, I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t say anything. The only time I ever felt empathy in her office was the day she had a student with her. Dr Cawthorn was getting frustrated/angry with me as I was “saying the same things over and over”. Once she left, the student handed me tissues (as I was crying) and apologized on her behalf. Please don’t send your loved ones or yourself to her. It saved my life to leave. I am far happier under other care.

Not going anywhere else!
Dr. Cawthorn is a deeply compassionate and caring physician that has helped me to turn my life around with just a few short visits. I felt like she really listened to me, addressed my concerns, and then helped me to implement a plan that has reversed suicidal ideation and a long-standing problem with anxiety and depression over a relatively short time period (3-6 months). She is a great psychiatrist and I am so grateful to have met her.

RN family member
On Feb 14 my niece was seen by Tracey Cawthorn upon recommendation of a fellow peer. The visit was minimally therapeutic, allegedly: cathartic in nature, non empathetic, non- engaging, Medication was prescribed with instructions to increase the dosage after specified time. However my niece began to display untoward behaviors. Several calls were made to the MD's listed contact number on Feb 27-28 for direction. No return calls were received even to date. My niece was taken to and admitted to an in patient facility and remained for one week. This doctor demonstrates neither concern for nor interest in providing post office intervention with her patients. Her oath to DO NO HARM is seen as non binding or of importance to her or to the staff who intercept calls made after hours. I would NOT recommend her to a human or a dog. She is a detriment to the medical field, particularly patients with mental health issues.

This is one of the most unprofessional doctors I’ve ever had the displeasure to meet. Tracey is incredibly impersonal, condescending, and tone deaf. Not only was she half an hour late for our session, she was texting on her phone the entire session and kept getting confused because she wasn’t listening. In addition, her staff were just as rude and passive aggressive as she was. I highly advise you to seek help elsewhere, as this “professional” will berate you for an hour and charge you for it.
