Terrible appt. I made a same-day appt, the appt was at 1115, the scheduler informed me there was a 15-minute grace period, I arrived at the appt at 1120, during check-in in front desk asked me for a document that I was not informed I would need before making this appt. I asked if I can email the form, the Recep response was, ' you're already late for the appt', My response was Im not late until 1130, it's only 1120. The recep went to the back and relayed my comment to Dr Patel, who obviously didn't take a liking to my persistence. Dr Patel came to the front desk to inform me that she would make an exception to see us. I was excited! Once I arrived in the back, Dr Patel made it a point to chastise me, ' You should carry the form with you at all times.' My response was, 'I've never had an issue until today.' In the exam room, Dr Patel ignored me, she spoke directly to my daughter as if she were the parent, she didn't allow me to say anything, and she talked over me.

Under her care, my daughter received no worthwhile treatment for her symptoms of PCOS despite repeated expensive testing. She referred us to both a dietitian and cardiologist, while ignoring the fact that her hormone imbalance persisted. Her notes on my daughter's condition included inaccurate non-factual based assessments of our home life and mental well-being. I would have preferred a doctor that would have treated her symptoms instead of psycho-analyzing her and the rest of my family.
